Unemployment has it's advantages. Will be around all day Friday, unless g/f drags me off on some day trip.
Who from the PC circuit will be around for friendlies?

I'm still between jobs, so I should be about, though I'm doubting Play will get the game to me by friday, let alone thursday, as they seem totally crap with getting their orders packed at the moment :|
I may get CD-Wow onto the case as well then :D They got me Quake 4 a day before release.

Not played PES on the PC before, so might need some help sorting out my router and testing...

Personally, I've wrestled long and hard over where to buy it from. In the end, I've gone with the high street. I might have to trade in every game I own to get it down to a price I can afford - but it's better than outlaying 17.99 straight away! Just got to try and get someone to price match it down to a decent level. Got burnout revenge down to 29.99 on day of release so should be able to knock PES5 down a bit.

You can get £10 off at Game if you trade in PES4 - take a few more games with you and it's a done deal.

Lunchtime just now.
Went to Gamestation, MVC and HMV.
Took the XBox version of the game to the counter and asked for the PC version. Was hoping someone would release the copy to me without thinking about it.
Alas, no joy as no one had it in stock :D

I was thinking about doing something similar, but bottled it
I may wander up to the supermarket tomorrow, as it would not surprise me if it got put straight out as soon as it comes in.
I just went into gamestation, and asked them what their trade-in plan was for 4 against 5 on PC.
They didn't even know that it was coming on PC, couldn't confirm that they would be getting it, and didn't know anything about trade-ins.
They didn't have Taito Lgends the other day either.

Its starting to look iffy for deliveries from Play for Friday. My order is still sitting at "Coming Soon" and usually they take 3 days to arrive. Hmmmm, might have to consider my options! Does anyone have any other online suppliers they'd recommend?
I've got in on order with Play.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://playcom.at/thedvdforums) and CD-Wow.com (50p off!) (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://www.cd-wow.com/index.php^QS^affid=15561). :D
Probably end up buying it for £35 on Friday from the High St if it doesn't get here :lol: :cry:

Mine's still sitting on 'pre-order' status, but it's usually 2 days till delivery for me.
However much people are tempted to try and play online the illegal version floating around now, be warned that Konami's servers are recording ip's and key numbers, and you will no doubt disqualify yourselves from future ranking leagues etc.
Ordering mine from Play as well. If it arrives I'll be on to play some games.
So there is a CD-key with PES 5 then?

Not going to risk it. Going on pre-order dvd's from play which come out on a monday. I usually get them on the Saturday. So hoping I get the dispatched mail tomorrow and it turns up Friday :thinking:
Get yourself in GAME at 5pm Thursday. That's the time they started selling the console versions last week.

Apparently Gameplay.com usually deliver on day of release so I think I'll change my order to them. Thursday might be optimistic with Game as the PC version won't be anywhere near as popular as the console one so the chances of somewhere else breaking the release date early is slim.
Have just noticed the warez version appearing in the usual places. I'll stick with the demo one for practising on in the meantime I think.

My Play order is now processing. I've decided to just be patient and wait for it as it is pretty damn cheap.
Might actually take my Xbox version back to Game under their 10 day thing.
