Hi there,
I have noticed a problem with KV32FQ75(S). Basically on any input there are two very faint horizontal scrolling lines across the screen. Their not that noticeable but when you see them once its hard to ignore them.
I've read other posts here and on other groups describing it but I'd just like to ask if anyone here got a solution to it apart from getting the tv replaced. Sony Ireland want to take my tv away after Christmas buy I'm not too keen on that.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Mick, I've the same TV and the identical problem. I only see it clearly on a dark backgraound though.
I've been told it's interference from power or speaker cables.
I'll have a go at tidying them up one of these days and see what hapens...

I don't think it's interference from an external source - i've tried plugging out everything and its still there - all my equip is Sony - so you'd imagine it shouldn't cause interference. Only exception is the sky box which is panasonic. Its not the cause though - i've tried removing it and the lines are still there. I've seen reference to people saying its a know fault with the set but i've yet to see if anyone has gotten a solution to it.
Cheers,
Mick

I have that TV.
I see broad dark vertical bands that move horizontally across the screen - but only when there is no active input signal - no problem when watching the telly as such. If you see what I mean.
If you see any such effects when actually watching a program or DVD then I think you have a problem that needs fixing.

I heard a rumour that there is a problem with compatability with certain dvd players, although sony deny this
i think they are the norm for sony trinittron tubes (tv and monitors). Apparently, they're there to 'stabilize' the picture.
It's the shadow cast by the horizontal damper wire used to stabilize the aperture grille, or something along those lines.

No - thats something else entirely - you should see a fine line if you look very closely - its on all Sony tellys - no problem there.
The posts here refer to broad bands - thats not normal.
