Had to change the m/board as other one died,unfortunately pc now
only boots to the safe mode menu, but whichever one I choose the machine
just reboots to the safe mode menu again,
I'm forced to do a repair install but I read that after the repair you have to install the service packs again,
what I need to know is if I use an XP disk with SP2 slipstreamed into it,
would I still need to reinstall the service pack or would the fact that SP2 is already there would it install during the repair,
Anybody tried this ?
