Macrovision - Codes?

Yello, I'm new.
I've just bought a Mustek (crap I know) DVD player from a computer shop. The guy behind the counter gave me a secret access code in order to disable the region lock. Lovely, all well and good. However I can't record to VHS because the player is not macro disabled. He reckons I can get another secret access code from a digital site somewhere out there. Anyone have a clue as to where that might be?

Not sure if this will work or not but give it a try, found it during a search as...

...so no idea what will happen :) As always you do so at your own risk etc. so if it all goes pear shaped then it weren't me guv!

1) Turn on DVD player with no disc inside.

2) Press the SETUP key on remote control.

3) Go to DVD player's front face and quickly press the following sequence:

A) NEXT
B) STOP
C) PAUSE / STEP
D) PREVIOUS
E) NEXT

The MacroVision anti-duplication encoding can not be turned off on the DVD-102.
