Samsung Le32r41bdx/ Freeview and video Question.

I have a Samsung with built in Freeview but how do i get the freeview channels into my video???
Is it possible to do this or not?
I am just being thick and missing something obvious???

do you not jsut connect the vcr to one of the scarts and when something comes on record AV1 or whateve ron the VCR?

Yep-should be possible but you wont be able to record off the TV if its switched off/on standby (you can set the TV to go on & switch off with the right channel on though) or while you are watching another channel.
You need to connect a scart lead between the two 1st.
Set the TV to the freeview channel you want to record.
Set the VCR to record via the scart (AV1 or AV2 usually)

So you have to have the telly on whilst you record, thats a bit crap.
Why not put a Freeview out on the box!! Oh well may have to get a HDD recorder with built in freeview.
