I give up!
Okay, I understand the first problem is that PC World are involved. I have received one of these PC@Home vouchers from work for a sum of money. I intended to get the mac mini (£499 top end model) and a samsung 32" HD LCD TV for the display. All well and good... I checked you could get the TV on the scheme - there's no problem with that as it has a PC input. The problem is that now PC World have said to me that the mac mini is end of life! But... PC World Business still list the model I want. I give up!
The mac mini model that pc world have in stock everywhere is the discontinued model @ £339 - Apple has not sold this for months.
The current high end model is £499 - yet they are telling me that this is discontinued. Apple do not agree obviously as they still see the thing.
I have to use the voucher at PC World and I don't want a £499 no name PC - just a mac mini. Any ideas? They tell me they absolutely will not allow me to order one from the business side of the company because I need to use this @Home voucher.
I'm wondering if it's because Apple is about to bump the specs of the mac mini so they are in short supply and thus PC World will be selling them again soon.
Regards,
John.
