The Definitive HK Film List!!!!

O.k some of you will have noticed that for 3 weeks now, we've been running poll to create the definitive HK film list. We decide to split the poll over 5 weeks and include a list for each popular genre.

I will use this thread to display the results of the voting. At the moment we're halfway through the polling, so over the next couple of weeks I will be updating the lists in the thread & including results to new genres.

Here's a brief re-cap of the Mark Breakdown Scheme:
1-2 = Crap!
3-5 = Average
6-7 = Good
8-9 = Very Good
10 = Excellent


The results shown for each film will be it's average score.
If 2 films get the same average score, then the film which received the most votes gets the higher placing in the poll.

I have now updated the poll to include info on all the films that we know HKL have the UK rights for. See the colour key below.

I'm actually running this poll on the KFCC forum at the moment, so expect this list to be updated weekly for the next few weeks! Hopefully it'll include even more titles!

Maggie Cheung is a bleedin good actress! You seen any Wong Kar Wai films? Some of her best performances have been when he's directing her!
I voted for her, but i was really torn between her & Brigitte Lin, in the end i decided that Maggie's films are usually more fun. :p

I've opened up the polls in another forum, so each week from now I'll be updating each list. I'm also gonna get rid off the multiple scores jobby & just leave the weighted mean besides each film, that way the lists will be less confusing! :)

I've now updated the poll to show the most recent results. I've also got rid of the Mode scores & ranking as most people don't remember GCSE maths, so it's best to stick with averages!

I've also created a little colour code so people can look at the list & see which films are already HKL DVDs and which are future HKL DVDs.

If anyone can spot any mistakes in the poll, or can think of any titles that isn't in the above lists that should be in there, then feel free to tell me so either via e-mail or this thread!
