What on earth had to be cut from Mrs Doubtfire, I have to ask.

I have the uncut (though it is non-anamorphic) R1 DVD of this and the cuts seem ridiculous and pathetic?

It would be passed with a 'PG' certificate uncut today, surely?

The review doesn't say if the disc is cut though. :(

Anyone know if the R4 is cut?

The BBFC cut is only around 13 seconds long and running times are rounded up, so no. :(

Thanks anyway. :)

Anyone else?

Sexual innuendo that went beyond what the BBFC considered suitable for a PG certificate. If I remember rightly, it was originally released with a 12, then cut and reissued as a PG.

So can anyone confirm that the R4 disc is uncut?

From what I've seen the reviews at MichealDVD are pretty accurate when it comes to pointing out cuts, so it's probably a good bet the R4 is not cut. You can always mail them and ask of course....

Also perhaps woth noting that the running time quoted by the review (119:51) is longer than any video version classified by the BBFC, but having said that the most recent entry in the BBFC database indicates a running time of 119:48, which isn't short enough (assuming the time quoted in the review is accurate).

I emailed the reviewer a few days ago. He wasn't aware of any BBFC cuts and said he'd get back to me but still hasn't. :(

Ask the BBFC if the Aussie disc is cut? :p
