Postpone/remove Live account?

Hi all - I'm just about to sell my Xbox, but it's got a Live account on it which I'll want for 360, but probably not until Xmas week at the earliest. Is there any way to suspend my account for the 3 months (seeing as it's paid for but won't be used), and recover it when I've got a 360? Also, how do I completely remove my Live account and any user details from my current Xbox before I ship it out?

Not sure about "suspending" as such, it's paid for and not used so in that sense it's a waste but I don't think you can send it on a hiatus.

As for removing, just go into the Memory part of your xbox from the dash, and delete the Live account as you would a game save.
