Time for a light hearted fun compo. Open to anyone who wants to join in, lets squeeze the last bit of fun out of PES4 we can :nuts:

Rules

1) Pick ANY team you want to play as
2) Pick ANY team to play against
3) 10 Minute match on 1 star difficulty
4) After the match Email/Post a picture of your Match Details screen (The one that shows shots, fouls, possesion etc)
5) Points will be awarded as such...

Goals = 3 points per goal
Goals conceeded = minus 5 points
Total Shots on Goal = 1 point per shot
Shots on target = 2 points per shot
Opponent Total Shot = Minus 1 point per shot
Opponent Shots on Target = Minus 2 points per shot
Fouls = Minus 1 point per Foul
Offsides = Minus 1 point per offside
Yellow Cards = Minus 2 points per yellow card
Red Cards = Minus 3 points per red card
Possesion = 1 point per possesion percentage (That's a mouthful :nuts: )

6) I'll collate all the results into a table in this post
7) You will get 1 entry on the table, but you can 'replace' this entry be submiting a screenshot from another match.
8) Open to anyone on the forums with PES4, be it Xbox, PC or even the PS2 (should the visit our corner :p)
9) Prizes will be: 1st 5 DVDs from a selection of 10, 2nd 3 DVDs from whats left, 3rd The remaining 2 DVDs
10) No bitching about lag :doh: :D

PC Players can take a screen dump by pressing ALT & PRT SCRN, then open MS Paint (Start, Programes, Accessories, Paint) and going EDIT > Paste. Save the image as a jpg and either upload yourself or email to chris@bolch.co.uk. Xbox owners will have to get their digital cameras out.

Ending Date = 21st October

How about -10 points per goal conceeded. I know it's unlikely someone will conceed no matter how attacking a team they field but I think it should be covered just in case.

Great idea for a comp though, I think I'll be tackling this one on the PS2 version! :D

Have sent my first (pretty pathetic) effort.

The bad goals to shots ratio was due to playing crouch in the first half! :)

I think John's is a mock-up anyway, as a 10 minute match, providing you score *every* attack you attempt, means you have to score a goal quicker than once every 30 seconds to get to 23, and bearing in mind they had an attack as well, I call you out sir!!! Shennanighans!!! :D ;)

I've just been giving it a go, 23 is possible. On one attempt I scored 5 in 10 PES minutes, multiply that over 90 and thats 45 goals :nuts:

Yeah, well I could play for an hour against the computer on 1 star and not score 20! :)

And Lou, it's not fun! there are prizes at stake here! And how do we know if people are sticking to the time limit? Or paying tequila to play for them? Or altering the code of the game to make the opposition play without a keeper? Eh? Eh?

Its definately possible - as long as you can score in every 2 Pro Evo mins (Which I was doing for the start of that Brazil game) then you can do it.

I got thirty one game, but didn't save the .jpg as it was only my second try and thought it would be that easy every time.

I think that's been my problem over the last couple of seasons. The quality of teams has gone downhill over the last 3 seasons and as such flamboyant play isn't rewarded but I've been unable to change my game. Having now played a couple of matches with this I find I'm scoring a lot more than when I played my usual style when I first picked up AC Milan.

How do you guys put the big pictures in the post?

By my bad Mathematical reckoning, that above match makes 156 points. Not great but i have exactly the same problem in every match. Score 5 goals every 15 minutes of game time up to half time. Score one early doors second half, then the opposition start defending like ninjas from around the 50th minute to the 85th minute. Then I score one or two at the end.

It's as regular as clockwork! :(

Minus 1 point for each shot opponents have
Minus an additional 2 points if the shot was on target.

I had a quick go last night (Well, it was supposed to be a quick go, but lasted over an hour). My best was about 20 goals. I just can't seem to keep the momentum going for 90 mins. I also found that i was better shooting in one direction ie first half I'd score 12 -15 goals, then in the 2nd half I'd struggle.

I'll have another go tonight inbetween league matches :D

I was trying it last night on double game speed and the best I got was 22-0. Much more fun and it makes going past players so easy when it's that fast you just need to control your shots more.

The Wolf patch changes PES Utd for Leeds. There's loads of equally bad teams. I've tried against a couple, favs to play against are Leeds and Ecuador. Although it's worth trying looking at all the teams we used in last seasons matches :D

That 30 goal mark is very tough to reach - its so annoying when you zoom into the 20s but then the CPU starts retaining possession like its on 6 star and the CPU keeper thinks its Peter Schmeichel :mad:

The CPU is quite predicatable. For my 31 I found I picked the ball up in almost the same place at the same time after their kick off so from kickoff was running a player into that spot ready. Even lost the ball a couple of times, 35 and 40 are my next targets, 40 is going to be a bitch though.

I don't think you can change the CPU's settings on the Xbox version.

I agree Bolch, there's no point in participating if you can only win by cheating IMO. Shame as I don't think my best of 19 so far is going to win me a prize! :cry:

i always play austria on 4 stars and find it hard to beat them how ive got to the premiership ill never know

My best so far is a 26-0 which would give me 220 points, 24-0 and 221 points and a 23-0 win with 224 points. I can't be bothered posting screenshots though as they would only put me near the bottom of the table anyway. I managed to get to about 12-0 after 30 mins in one game but then the computer kept possession for ages so I only scored another couple before half time :brickwall

Damn yeah! Didn't think of that.

Got another idea to combine with this too, but wont say as Bolch doesn't want things like this posted.

Besides even when i do this, and play all players out of posiion, and all the cheats and tricks, I still can't get above 20.........
