Just been playing this and what can i say ....superb, now i havent played this on the PC so i didnt know what to expect(no doubt all the PC people will say its not as good , blah,blah,blah) but i really enjoyed it, good graphics and awesome sound and the few games i played, there was hardly any lag at all :thumbs: ...its a bugger when your on foot though and you can hear a tank rumbling down the road.. :lol:

No , its just a LIVE one this month, but according to the mag they'll be having a single player demo next month (Oct) :thumbs:

The games not out until November though :(

Thanks boss, I'll check town tomorrow. I don't normally go for the mags for demos but I am interested in this. It was in the Top 10 games on Live for ages.

That Without Warning seems pretty good as well on the disc.

Shame we have a massive wait for it, comes out only a few weeks before the 360. The Septics get it a whole month before us as well. Ridiculous.

Did you notice the date on the demo says October 25th release?

Is this the US release and they haven't bothered to change it? Gameplay have a UK release of November.

Yeah I saw that, that is the US release but maybe it's ours as well (well the Friday after) and the shops just haven't updated it? Ha, it's EA though so who knows, hardly the most consistant of people :oh-hum:


Regardless, I'll order this. We have to wait almost 2 weeks before the 360 but tbh I think a Battlefield game will be popular for a long time and I'm sure it'll be playable on the 360.

Doesn't seem to be much on the US version apart from a Q1 2006 US release.

The EA servers seem to be dead on the demo now :mad: :razz:

I'm waiting for the 360 version myself :thumbs: , any date on that at all ?

Shame we cannot create our own games, an even bigger shame that Xbox Live servers cannot be purchased just like PC ones. I would love to be able to buy a clan server on a 100mb switch for x amount a month, it's all MS, it cant be that hard to sort?!

agree these type of new games dont seem to work as well on consoles graphics being a let down when you know there much improved on the pc.

It does, only you can only have one person talking at a time which is good. The proxy chat doesn't really seem to work though, I always thought this game had it but maybe not. Or my team mates hate me.
