I went to the first ever A1 Grand Prix on sunday and had a really good day.

I used my SLR to get most of my pics so I'll have to wait till there developed
before I can post any if there good enough.

I have another thread running in relation to getting the 35mm film into digital if anyone can help please click the link below and post a response there.

Click here to read thread (http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=390516)

These were all taken with my Fuji F610
Most have been resized and cropped due to lack of webspace and having my main photo site taking up two thirds of the site already.

Anyway hope you like the pics.

Pretty sure those last lot aren't Ginettas. They look more the Caterham type.

nice pics there

here are a few of mine, I am lucky in one way being a flag marshal & I can get into the pits no problem but when there is action on the circuit there is no way I can get any photos i'm to busy & a big no no as I have a job to do

I was flagging at the bottom of Graham Hill bend at the bottom of the hill after Druids hairpin

very good weekend with plenty of good racing

Cool pics, looks like you were sat about 50 yards to my left for the A1 race! Didn't get any pics of the Lebonese car flipping then?

"1966" No mate. We were sitting at the end of the start/finish straight just were the black high fences were. So you must have been on my left or you were next to the grandstand. Saw the car flip right in front of us but typically I had put my camera down at that point. He was a lucky block, did you see the cack wheel spinning for about a minute and he was buried and they couldn't turn the car over. From what I read in the sports thread he had his hands up as it went over and he managed to open his visor as well.

Ah yes, looking at it again you would have been further to my right. Yeah they were actually showing his in car camera (facing him) on the big screen as he flipped and once he was in the gravel I looked at that cos you could only see a big cloud of dust in the gravel pit, and his arms were flailing about all over the place.

the external cut off switch is to the right hand side of the driver level with his head & was therefore buried in the gravel
the other cut offpoint is in the cockpit & could not have been easy to reach
