Could anyone give me some good suggestions as to where to get some film develpoed into digital format.

I went to Brands Hatch on Sunday and took 6 x 24 rolls of film using my Canon 1000FN with my 200mm lens.

I am in a quandry as to whether any of the photos will come out any good as it's been at least two years since I used the equipment last and being behind a fence I had to restrict every shot to manual focusing. They all looked good though the viewfinder but I don't want to spend a fortune getting alot of either empty or out of focus shots developed.

I'm not even interested in them printing them out for me. I just want them in digital format.

I took my F610 Fuji with me and got a couple of nice close up macro shots in the paddock but I really wanted race photos and the lense isn't realy ideal for those shots.

I'll try and post some later from the Fuji as no one else seems to have posted any from the event yet.

Thanks

I've got an APS camera & I always get Adsa photo centres to put the pics put straight onto cd.

They do it direct from the film. I've had a few done without prints, just the cd. With APS you get the film spoll back (no negative strips) I tend to print the photos I like off at home from the cd but if you want a better quality you could get the photos printed at a photographic place from your original negs once you've decided which ones you like.

How much does it cost compared to just getting it developed normally?

ive just got married and the photographer (being as he's a freind of a friend) has said we can have the negative, which would be the best way to get these on to a cd?

I took a roll of mine to a shop near my work. They charged me £5 to put 1 roll of 36 onto CD. And they wern't very good.

I went into Bonusprint and asked the assistant how much they charge and she said it was £1.99 for the development and 99p to put them on CD.
So for you it should only be 99p. They had a big poster on the wall saying photos on CD for 99p.

I also asked whether they scan the picture or the neg and she said the neg.

I'm gonna take my other 5 films down there and get them done.
Sounds like the ideal place for you too "adencool"
