There will be no fannying around this season. Come Friday 30th I will be looking at who's not finished all their matches. Those who little effort in getting them played will removed. There will also be weekly turfout's to make sure everything stays running smooth.
Monday September 26th = World Cup Group Stages Over - 2nd Stage Starts
Friday September 30th = Season 7: Season 7 Starts
Friday September 30th = WC 2nd Stage Over, Quarter Finals Start
Sunday 2nd October = WC Quarter Finals Over, Semi's Start
Wednesday 5th October = WC Semi's Over, Final Starts
Friday 7th October = World Cup Final over
Friday 7th October = Season 7: 4 matches played MINIMUM (Recommended 6)
Wednesday 12th October = National "Let Bolch win as it's his birthday" day
Friday 14th October = Season 7: 8 matches played MINIMUM (Recommended 12)
Friday 21st October = 12 matches played MINIMUM (Recommended ALL!)
Friday 28th October = Season7: Season7 ends - PES5 Released
If there is a problem playing your matches due to work commitments/holiday/wife etc please let me and your fellow league mates know asap. The weekly turfouts I can sway with but need to know why you haven't hit the minimum requirements.
If you're going to play someone from your division in the Super League please ensure you've played your Normal League game first. Thanks

The Team Game
To make this last Season something different I've introduced the Team Game. You will continue to play to win your league as usual. The Team you are playing with exists across all 4 divisions. The stats from your team across the divisions will be gathered and put in a rankings table along with the stats for the other 8 teams. so while you may not win the Division title, you could still win the team title!
RESERVES
Once the season has kicked off, Reserves will step straight into the shoes of whoever has dropped out.

I'd recommend waiting until PES5. Due out in October and only £17.99 at Play.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://playcom.at/thedvdforums). Our leagues are due to start after Christmas, however we may have some mini tournaments on the build up :thumbs:

Ahhh I thought I had to get more points than him to earn the special award?
Well, after a session of about 8 games against Matt's AC Milan, I'm declaring Valencia the poorest team I've had at my disposal since Boro. Just couldn't compete at all and lost 7 out of 8 (even if a good chunk of the goals were from the Spawny School of Goalscoring ;) ).
Canizares/Palop don't make saves
Ayala and Co can't mark for crap
Midfield is useless
Di Vaio/Corradi are impotent at best
Aimar is the only good player and even he can struggle against those big defenders. Tried every variation of my tried and tested formation and it still miserably failed. Going to take a LONG time to find an attacking style that will actually avoid me getting my butt handed on a plate this season! :cry:

AC Milan :notworthy
I ripped John apart game after game, without a shadow of a doubt it was purely player skill and nothing less. Delightful chips, powerful piledrivers, heavenly headers and the occaisonally sidefoot showed him how to play.*
Actually, a vastly superior team beat him and it was only little to do with my skill but hey :D

ahhhhhhhh i closed my eyes and clicked the table button praying not to get real madrid and what happens lol this is now going to force me to play a attacking game as madrid will just not suit my 25 man defence counter attack method lol i have seen countless players here losing by some serious margins with madrid and get relegated lol
ah well its the last season i may aswell go out with a bang and a few carlos free kicks bulging the net

Actually, it was a bit one sided and i'm not really sure if I would really beat John so readily :D
It was an idea I was toying around with before I did the team draw in fairness.

Team Rivaldiakos would unfortunately be met with rather muted applause from everyone else I reckon in my team. Guys, any other teams you'd like to go? I'm going to have another bash with Valencia later but unless I'm showing substantial improvement, it could be a long season for us! :eek:

I've a 3rd choice keeper to try and some other defenders to roll in. If I was able to turn Boro round to a decent outfit in the end, then a team with Aimar at my disposal will soon become a crack outfit sooner rather than later :D

he is good in the air, but he and mr rooney are a bit tasty on the shooting front also.

how are you guys who have real using them seem ok going forward but carlos and co seem to have a habit of forgetting to come back what forations you using i am thinking of tying a 5 3 2 with wing backs and 3 central defenders might even play woodgate with a counter attack style played broon last night with his liverpool and boy did he get good use out of cisse and kewell

Team Valencia can relax - I think I've got them sorted. Just reeled off 4 wins on the bounce against Bigjonny (check his MSN name to see what he thinks of Real :eek: ). That 's 6 undefeated since I dumped Curro Torres who is just abysmal. Its tightened up Ayala a lot and its allowed me to use my tried and tested 4-3-3 formation :D

Had an absolutely storming game tonight vs the Manxmuppet-meister.
Man Utd vS Man Utd - end-to-end, unpredictable and a lot of fun - some truly bizarre moments, but entertaining as ****!

I played a few games with AC Milan last night, just not feeling them at all. Schevcenko I can see has potential but every game he's either a blue or grey arrow. Only player that I've actually put to good use is Jaap Stam.
I could juts be playing ***** though.
Played as Real last night and got hammered six nil and three one! :(
But I was being crap, as my playoff showed so wont panic just yet......

AC Milan are amazing! How can you not get a feel for them? :?: :D
I’d play 4 at the back, three in a thinish line up the middle at angles to each (one just infront of the defence so effectively five at the back) other and 3 up front along the edge of the box. Absolutely ripped John apart for a good 8-10 games. Whether that was just Val-crap-lencia or me I dunno but I fell in love with them then and there :D
Stick Jaap Stam in the centre of defence and you have a team that is really difficult to score against from crosses or balls over the top :notworthy
In the middle, keep the team fast. I like using Seedorf just behind Kaka. Seedorf is good at getting back and can lay a fantastic ball forward whilst Kaka has good pace so is good at tracking players around the middle and can cross a mean ball for the 3 amazing strikers Milan have.
As for the forwards, I always found Shevvy was off form all the time :mad:. I’d rotate between Crespo, Inzaghi (sp?), Tommason (sp?) and Shevvy depending on form. They are all pretty hot at shooting so don’t just go for the Shev meister – the others appear equally adept at shooting :thumbs:. IME I have found Tommason the best to play in the CF with the Crespo and Inzaghi on the LWF and RWF.
Like I said it's more than likely me playing crap. I know it's slightly out of place, but I've been playing Stam in a DMF rolewith Nesta and Maldini? as the 2 CBTs. To be honest I've been on a downward slope since I hit form with Spurs at the end of season 3. Even with the Czech's I'm not scoring as much as I was with Spurs.
Tried about 4 different formations with AC so far with 3-2-2-2-1 being my fav. Plan on trying a bog standard 4-4-2 tonight.

Been playing against the computer a bit this morning - as everyones being really inconsiderate and doing something called work.
I seem to have found a formation that might work - certainly does against the computer, but might not against real humans.
Seems to be nice and solid, but allows control of the midfield and utilises carlos to his best advantage.

Bolch I've emailed you re season 7. I wanted to sit it out (holidays then work) and only came back in to make up the numbers. As we have reserves I'd prefer if they took my place and I'll be back for pes 5.

I *might* of found my feet with AC Milan but still need a few more practice games. Just played Chelsea on 5* and only won by 1 goal :(
But the 62% possesion and 15 shots (9 on target) to their 1 (0 on target) makes up for it :D

3 games and 13 conceeded goals later I can safely say that's bull ****.
I am just miserable with this.
I have now played ten games, and barely created a chance.
I can't work out if i am crap, or madrid are crap, or a mixture of both.
I think in those ten games i scored two goals, and created a total of about 4 chances! :(

but there was certainly no walkovers like when i played john316
i still say real are to attack minded and leave gaps at back to try and sort this i am playing defenders who actually have a defence rating ie woodgate and raul bravo
cuz carlos has hardly any instead im playing carlos on the left side of midfield awesome going up and has enough speed to help out defence and he goes down with the slightest touch
found the ronaldo and owen pairing ok but only if they both on form there positioning leaves a bit to be desired but i find raul has much better positioning and is still quick on his feet with a nice accurate shot
yup ive turned the worlds most expensive attack minded galaticos into a bunch of tough tackling defence minded team not good on the eye but i dont care aslong as i dont finish bottom which is my aim

Yeah, the games between us tonite were a bit of a whitewash - I think that lag in both games made the most difference. I think you won all the ones you hosted and me all the ones I hosted :(
Shame its not very often we get a lag free link - hope PES 5 remedys this :thumbs:

It must be the scoring I've got a problem with though, that runaway game we had equal possesion and equal shots but everyone one of yours on target went in :lol:
If I stick it on 1* I should get quite a bit of practise with the shooting.

Its true, every shot I had either justed rocketed in or the keeper would save it and then one of my players would follow it up. I think we had 11 shots each and I some how scored 75% of those shots .
Mind you, I think I do have an advantage that I’ve used AC Milan before with an Overclockers cup (I got to the final and lost in ET :() so know how they click.
In a later game (I think it was against you) Shevchenko’s miss from about 4 yards when he was put clear by a chip throught ball was hilarious (how he missed was beyond me!) and that Crespo goal in the first match made me go :eek: - that was an absolute pile driver! :D

so i changed the real defence to matt wild style deep and it seemed to work as he couldnt get the crosses in and was struggling a bit to break me down i used my pace well and scored a couple of times to win the remaining games
then the games lost connection but i think john pulled the plug lol ;)

Some good games for sure - for some reason, Valencia can have this habit of just self combusting if one or more of the backline is on a subzero rating like Caneira and Ayala were. Some of the marking on Ronaldo was just comical at times in between the CB and FB positions. Still not happy either with the lack of saves from Santi Canizares. He's reminding me of Rustu of Turkey - stunning stats but in PES life, dismal performances :lol:
But I'm in a far better position than I was with them on Sunday/Monday and will be ready to try and defend my 2nd place in the league from last season. Always up for a challenge :thumbs:

Save the files from my post, then login to MSN, go to Contacts at the top and then click on Import Contacrs from a File. You might have to delete everyone and then import again via the list. But once done, you'll have all of the players in their respective divisions which makes it double easy to see if a division rival is online or not.
Also now been able to add Hornsteve Jnr as he has an MSN account so here are Div 2 and 3 updated:

In the first game Henry's pace, control and finishing was just too much for the Liverpool defence. The second game was very close until a late Henry goal secured the points. Well played bob :thumbs:

Should've had all 6 in fairness. Went into the break in the first game 1-0 up having had 8 shots to Art's 1. Art equalised in 50th with a hit and hope 20 yarder as I had Stam, Nesta and Maldini growling in the box. Art then scored another around 15 mins later, a fumbled shot/save falling to Eto'o's feet. Used a 1-2 to free up Inzaghi on the wing who slipped in a perfect cross for Crespo to make it 2-2 on 80 mins. Spent the last 10 minutes defending 14 crosses, on the one I managed to make a break from Art dropped me like a sack of spuds in my own half to prefent an all out AC attack.
2nd game, again I went into the break one nil up having had the majority of the shots on net. Art swpped to a more attacking formation and more chances were created on either side. 2nd half saw Art doing a lot of long passes to try and catch me on the break but Stam used his newly fitted laser eyes to prevent them causing any major problems. Around 70th minute Sergino scored what would have to be an impossible shot. He was in the box, had several players around him, rotated 270 degrees in the other direction hit the ball with his weak foot and it went it. Art threw another couple of suspect tackles in diring this game which annoyed me a tad and was justification enough to go for the cutback to ass a little sugar to the scoreline.

Gotta check back here to make sure no one is taking the league by storm. After all, by doing some banter in here can heap the pressure on some of the players aiding my cause (well thats the plan :lol: - it works in the real premier so why not here :thumbs: ).

Its all part and parcel of the game IMO. In the last few matches i've seen it done by Jonny, Bolch and John - all whom i'd consider really decent players. It makes lots of sense, especially if its late on in the game and it'll stop a late equalizer/winner.
Its very cynical indeed but its also very realistic - the amount of times i've seen it in the Premier league makes our tackles like it pale in to insignifance.
Also, in my opinion, the odd foul whilst playing against some skillful folk breaks up their play and makes it difficult for them to play against you, again which is very realistic IMO makes the game very real in its feel (even if its very frustrating to play against someone like that :D).
Was quite amusing with Jonny the other day when it basically became war on each others defenders. Each time either of us got the ball past the half way line it was CRUNCH :lol: :D

tis only because you took out ronaldo when he was clean through
i was actually trying to perform a slide tackle without taking you out as these can be very good when timing is right but a lot of the time my timing was wrong
i always try to play fair and if a man is through i will let him carry on and not chop him down
but have seen it a lot myself and thought ahhhh what the heck why should i always be the victim so now ill become the new chopper harris

a good start to Manchester United's season. ******* is really struggling with Real, and in my leg he had several grey and blue down arrows to contend with. Man U (re) are very fast and have some lethal strikers in RVN, Saha & Rooney (bet Fergie wishes Saha was really that good!) and very fast wingers in Giggs, Ronaldo and Solj..... (who knows how you spell it)
first game was all utd. lots of shots and 3 good goals to show for it (not a cross among them! a first for me) 2nd saw a much more resiliant Real but they do seem to fall over when you go near them and the attacking force was not up to the job.

Belly deserved to win, and I am not making excuses - but i really do not understand real madrid at all.
They are really really ****. They are slow, they are incapable of passing a ball to each other, they turn like tanks, they fall over when anyone even breathes near them.
I am not joking - they are worse to play with than West brom.
I have now played 18 games against other players and got a grand total of four shots over those games.
It is frustrating in the extreme - and I am hating it! :(

First game, Valencia took an early lead, but couldn't hold it as i equalised on the next attack. After that it was one way traffic with Arsnal cruising to the win.
2nd game, Valencia put up more of a fight, and probably deserved to take the 3 points, but they missed a handful of good chances.

2nd game was quiet tight there was just a 10 min spell in the 2nd half where i ripped bob apart amd scored 3 goals within that ten mins, after that i just made sure i kept players behind the ball

Hilarious games.
First game, I played ultra defensive. As all over the pitch, the Barca players were about ten times faster than the Madrid plaers (can someone please tell me why Madrid are in this league), it was all i could do.
I repelled him completely, and even hit his post with a breakaway in the 70th minute.
Don't think he was very happy! ;)
Second game, he decided to get his revenge. My best defender (only one not on a down arrow) had to be carried off after 20 secs, and his first player got sent off after less than a minute.
He carried on hacking me down every time I dared to venture into his penalty area (which was not often, i admit) - then he worked out just how much faster Ronaldhino was than all the other madrid players. from then on, it was "pass the ball to Ronaldhino, run the length of the pitch and shoot".
two went in.

First game saw art take the lead, then for me to equalise and then take the lead, was a close game.
Second game, i took a 2-0 lead within 20 mins, and scored the 3rd before half time. Second half was enteraining. i hit the woodwork a few times and could of made it a bigger margin. Art also had his chances, one of them he was played through, open goal and he managed to put it over somehow :p
He played well and deserved some points. good games mate.
good start for me again, this time i just hope i keep it up.

how the hell can you get from 8 defenders to 8 men in your box attacking in the space of like 3 seconds i can only come to 2 conclusions
a) he knows some special stuff

Crespo was on a red and was crap. Chet dropped lucky with a couple of goals scored after rebounding them off my keeper. Also saved a cross which Stam managed to score for Chet. Got a consolation goal at the end with Crespo doing a Shaolin Soccer style running through the air to meet it on the volley which was pretty cool but then Chet got a 7th at the end with a low cross and no defenders to tackle him :(
Started playing a 2nd game and 16 mins in score was 1-1 and I'd missed a penalty then it crashed. We started again and I was all over Chet. Chet only had 2 shots in the match and of those was from a free kick.
2 really frustrating matches for me. The first one was fairly balanced until half time (score was 2-0). 2nd half I played better but everything Chet hit went in, an everything my keeper saved went in and one my defender knocked in. There isn't enough icing in the world to cover that 7-1 cake :nuts: (Shots were 14 to 7). 2nd game as I said I seemed to be all over Chet and I'm frustrated I only scored twice after hitting 21 shots (14 of which were on target1).
Chet's an excellnt player that plays good all round fluid football.
3 points a piece is a fair portrayal of the matches but a minus 4 goal difference from the matches stings to buggery.
Well played Chet, hope we play again soon!

Ok maybe I was a bit cold on form as I came straight from a hard day at work and stright onto PES4, but the gulf was obvious. I din't get a sniff.
I would like a friendly sometime when you have time just to make sure. Even the 10-1, and 8-2 defeats I have suffered in recent seasons felt closer. Simply put, if steve had really felt like it, I think we could have seen a record score.

Both games were one sinded, first game kipp took a 2-0 lead, I then pulled one back before half time and then pushed more but couldnt do any thing, and kipp made a good counter attack and finished me off.
Second game i took the lead early on and got 4 goals in the first half, second half was a bit more even, and i got a late goal to make it 5. Good games mate. 3 points each is fair result i think. Good luck with the rest of the season :thumb:

After a my truely woeful preseason with Valencia having found no setup for them, I decided to just play a totally brand new formation I'd used for them in PES 5 and it seemed to hit the mark in these games. First half (after Barlow's controller packed in :D ), having expect Van Donkeyface to just kill my see-through backline, I found myself 3-0 up at HT and playing pretty good football. Got pegged back to 3-1 by the Donkey but with Ayala marshalling the troops superbly, I took a hard earned 3 points.
Second game saw Carroll go for a nice job around the park to leave Corradi an easy header after Di Vaio crossed it over the stricken keeper. Got dragged level through a super little header from Van Donkeyface that somehow ended in the bottom corner leaving Canizares absolutely no chance. Got to HT, regrouped and managed to nick a 3-1 lead with a Di Vaio double. Mancs scored again with 20 mins left to make it a tense end but the Spaniards held out to make it max points for Team Valencia! :D

first game i suffered from that word and should of really been beaten easy, but my defence some how were solid, not by skill, luck.......and a smash and grab got me all three points which were not derserved at all.....
2nd game i took the lead and was controlling the game, until abiut the 40th min of the game i then fell a part , and daz derseved to win and did easy..........
must be the 2 worst games i have played in months but i am gratefull with 3 points as daz should of took all 6......

First game I dominated the first half scoring all 5 of my goals. Teasy came back into the game and played better in the second half. Henry scored all five I think and he was on a grey arrow. :D
Second game managed to go 2-0 up and then my defense fell aspleep. Teasy scored his first when he crossed the ball and Viera headed the ball straight into another defender only for the ball to fall into Xavi path who headed it in. Xavi also missed an open goal. :lol: Teasy managed to score two more making it 3-2. I managed to equalize more or less straight after Teasy's third to make it an exciting few minutes. I managed to get pen and Oleguer was sent off for his second yellow. Up stepped Henry and he bloody hit the post. :mad: Had another chance to win the game as Henry was in acres of space due to the sending off but his shot went straight into the hands of Jorquera. I was abit gutted that I didn't win the game but Teasy played well, sorry team Arsenal.

Valencia 1 - 2 Real
First game I had loads of chances, and Beckham grabbed two, with Woodgate managing to stay fit long enough to score as well. Capped with a Ronaldo goal. The shine was taken off the win when Carlos slid in the box, took the man and the ball (but the ball first, honest guv!) and conceded a pen. Had my mind set that I would dive bottom right, then changed it at the last. Only for Daz to slot it away in the bottom right. I hate it when that happens. :razz:
Second game Daz had the chances to win it, but lack of any real (pun intended) quality up front was the difference between Valencia and Real.

yeah, i sat through that match thinking to myself the whole time "all those guys who got Madrid must have got together and decided to pretend Madrid were crap" because they were outstanding up front.
Owen was like lightening and Ronanldo was so powerful.
Only time I've ever had madrid like that was when I put them all on up arrows, and all the oppsition on down arrows.

If madrid really aren't that much worse than other teams (and other peoples skills with them suggest they aren't) then they just don't suit me.
But Hornsteve owned me in our league games, but as soon as teams are switched, I dominate both legs.

well what can i say that first game was the best ive played for ages seeing as big t will never face me again inpes 4 he gave me a couple of tips that make him great
not that they made me great but i think they helped my defence a lot and with ronaldo and owen up front on reds i was in the mood as i have suffered enough today
2nd game i scored in second half then on 85 minutes a moment of madness by zidane insted of playing ball forward it went back but teasy got it played a ball to eto who drove a rising shot into the corner was a great goal

Again, I'm sorry if i caused offence!
The attempt was merely to analyse what was going wrong with me and real madrid (and a tiny bit, after being accused of being a hacker, to compare fouling statistics - as I do resent being called a hacker). But mainly the real Madrid thing.
I don't care whether I win or lose, get promoted or relegated, or whatever. I am merely in this for fun.
However, this is the first time since I have been playing Pro Evo that I have been so bad at the game. Even with West Brom, I did well and created chances.
After my league game, where Hornsteve simply owned me (he is always better than me as he is a better player), I realised that whatever happened I didn't have a hope in hell of actually scoring a goal this season, and probably would only have one or two shots over the whole season.
That is a very serious problem - lots of people seem to have problems with ceratin teams, but not as serious as this.
Hornsteve and I agreed on forum in public to have a friendly and as it was agreed on forum I thought I would post the result on forum.
I will happily delete the post whould nayone wish me to - but it will still apear in the quotes.
And as the first two or three pages of this thread were posted about friendlies and the results of said games I thought it was ok to do so.
I apologise again, and will never do anything to cause such offence again (until the next time).

you have the skill of becks and zidane in midfeild to whip balls through to ron and owen so just tighten up the back even the central defence have there settings to go high up lol
yeah i lost my first games bad but against prob the top 4 players in the league in barlow and tequilla
i only wish i had got the tips i got from big t and broon when i first joined cuz i now would be king of the world

Teasy played them well last night - he played Ronald very far forward down the left and kept using both wings very successfully.
He also didn't use Etto at all in either games - not sure if that was because of his condition or that he preferred Larssons presence

Sounds like me and Shevchenko.
Statistcally he's the best striker of the lot but he seems to always be off form. Even when he is the trio of Tomasson, Inzarghi and Crespo seem to be a lot sharper.
Can't work out where to play Rui Costa mind you as Kaka (he's so fast and crosses so well) fills my attacking midfield position and he seems to attacking to play anywhere else in midfield but not up to the standard of the the strikers.
Ideas on the back of post card please? :D

can't really fault Man U. hateful though it is, they are amazing.
i quite enjoyed playing as Real back in the day. always remember to get rid of roberto carlos from the back, major danger. and i found Guti to be the best of the midfield players as he is stronger than the other girls.
i got most joy upfront from owen and ronaldo, with Raul on the left of midfield.
but i never won much as i was crapper then than i am now, not good then!

yet the new guys who have poop stats like portillo always semm to be on red up

about 25 yellow cards 5 reds 2 pens and a brawl and i didnt get one card but got about 23 goals and let in 4
conceded 2 in one game but the style of play was well different and i realised hornsteve jnr had taken over lol a quick shuffle around and 4 goals later i won

In second game Mel played incredibly and deserved to win if he didn't keep bringing his keeper out to the halfway line ;) then maybe he could of won :)

Real 2 - 1 Juve
Two great games, and I flattered myself with the first result. Figo the unluckly source of all 3, and Gangsters phone helping me along the way ;). Then end of the game was an onlsaught for me and Casillas the hero to keep a clean sheet.
Second game I was firing shots in and Buffon ( :notworthy ) was on fire. Saving efforts left right and center from all sorts of angles. Then a sweet cross to Nedved gave Gangster a deserved lead at halftime. We both knew it would take something magic to score against Buffon, and thankfully Ronaldo obliged with my first ever overhead kick - more luck than judgement. Then, just when the honours looked even, ZZ struck a sweet shot from the edge of the box to score the winner. Harsh (yet satisfying :p ).

First game you played well through out, and allways on the attack, was very hard to play against. I only started to play better towards the end.
Second game, like you say, buffon was on form and saving everthing, thought i was gonna hold out for a 1-0 win, but wasnt to be, brillaint ronaldo goal, in the end a deserved win. Well played mate and good luck :thumbs:

two good games
first game missed a sitter to go 2-0 up which i think would of won me the game, but it stayed 1-0 until, the 2nd half and phayze scored 2 goals with 4 mins of each other.....
2nd game i did not play well and phayze derserved all 3 points,,,,
not sure what is wrong but i seem all over the place i have losted that quick passing movement i once had, if my form carries on like this i could see my fist going through the pc screen :cry:

Both good games, i thought i dominated both, specially on shots, allthough him being valencia helped me. First game neither of us could finish.
Second game was a brillaint game, daz dinked it over my defence and put away a nice finish, then i kicked off and attacked, straight away the ball fell to nedveds feet and took on about 3 players and placed it into the back of net, halftime. Second half daz took the lead again, stayed that way for a while, then bang trez scores, then few minutes later, another good move to put me 3-2 up and that was 78 mins, and i help on for the rest. Daz played well considering hes valencia :P

A Guy called mel (Juventus) 1 - 4 ******* (Real Madrid)
Well, I can't really say a lot. But the score was way flattering to me to say the least.
Mel scored first with a lovely goal, and then I pulled one back. I was starting to play some pretty decent football for the first ever time with madrid, but then Mel gave away a penalty which was harsh in the extreme. I've had the same kind given to me before now and it makes you want to smash your PC. He just did an X tackle on me in the area, and the ref gave it.
Even worse luck was to follow, when he slid tackled Owen from behind out on the wing. Should have been a yellow, but the player got straight red.
One way traffic after that - but for Juventus! :)
He played the most masterful use of a 10 man formation I have ever seen. he attacked attacked attacked, and used his keeper as a sweeper, often tackling on the half way line. the result was a hilarious game from end to end.
Mel deserved more goals, and was extremely unlucky. despite being ****** off he behaved like a gentlemen throughout. I'd would have been tanking!
Second leg, I had connection problems. i was gagging to play to be honest ( ;) ) but in the end we gave up and resolved to play another day.
Well played mel, and sorry. Not too sorry to take the points though! ;)

Second game I went to all out defence in desperation. Larsson was on fire and kept slipping through the middle of the Real defence. Scored two poachers goals, and could have had 2 or 3 more. I rode my luck at the other end - including a shocking miss from Ronaldo when my keeper was nearer the corner flag than the goal. My first win of the season :)

Good games mate, the first I was magic, the secnd I was tragic. Could not break you down in the second and Larsson was deadly in front of goal with some great finishes.

First game was probably one of the best I have ever played and Henry and Bergkamp just ripped moko apart. Ronaldinho got a superb consolation and moko's keeper was lucky to stay on after bringing down Bergkamp outside the box when he was the last man. I think trying to score 30 goals in Bolch's competition has definately improved my finishing :)
Second game was much tighter. Moko took the lead with a deflected Ronaldinho free kick but a Campbell header from a corner and a great finish by Reyes (replacing an unfit Henry) secured the 3 points.

And even better news is I seem to have (at least temporarily) fixed my random freezing problem. :clap: :clap:

right as regards the babyjonn front and his grounding as much of a stud as i am i cant persuade the wife otherwise so plan b will have to be put into action
shes at work tomorrow evening till in the morning so what she wont know wont hurt her babyjonny will keep stum cuz i hae told im if he says anything the boogie monsters will get him lol
he has had no practice with arsenal but says his and wait for it mosquito formation which he always uses will do him ok

man my fingers hurt just played about 7 games with hornsteve or should i say anklesteve in the 8 games we had
about 25 yellow cards 5 reds 2 pens and a brawl and i didnt get one card but got about 23 goals and let in 4
conceded 2 in one game but the style of play was well different and i realised hornsteve jnr had taken over lol a quick shuffle around and 4 goals later i won
