I know this is a bit of a strange question, but if you were pro photographer, and you were at a press conference for the signing of a new footballer or something like that. What lens would you use to get the best results before your photo was sold to a newspaper.

Weird i know, but i was just watching a DVD, and saw all the press photographers round Michael Owen as he signed for Newcastle, and it got me thinking, what are they using?

probably 600mm f2.8s

i wouldn't worry about it - you'll never be able to afford one!

At a press conference you would get a great shot of his zits! More appropriate for the pitch.

At a press conference, from a Canon point of view 70-200L f2.8 IS, or if I knoew I would be closish, 24-70L f2.8
