iTunes 5.0 WAV problems

Installed iTunes 5.0

Now every time I try to play a WAV file with it, it only plays the first 6 seconds then skips to the next track. Similarly if I try to convert the WAV to an mp3 using iTunes.. it only converts 6 secs.

Plays mp3s fine.

Any ideas?
Never had this problem with the previous version.

I've had numerous problems with iTunes 5, especially when it installs hidden software without saying so. I've gone back to 4.6 which came with my iPod.

The most annoying was the volume on some tracks sounded lower in volume. When i went back to iTunes 4.6, it was ear-bleeding loud again :shrug:

I believe itunes 5.01 is now available which supposed to correct certain issues .... :shrug:
