Firefox Extentions not working after update to 1.07 !

Just updated to 1.07 from 1.06. And most of my extensions don't work, no Gmail, not Open page in IE, not FTP, smoothwheel.

And the get more extentions page don't load up either. :?:

anyone got a solution to this problem?

I thought that was 'by design' in case some extensions were incompatible with the new version. After a couple of days, the extensions will slowly get updated.
The extensions page is probably getting hammered by people updating, which is why it isn't loading.

To hack an extension to work with a newer version:

1) Find and download the extension's .xpi file
2) Rename it to .zip and open it in your favourite zip program
3) Extract the install.rdf file and open it in a text editor
4) Find "<em:maxVersion>...</em:maxVersion>" and put a suitably high number in place of the "..." (1.9+ should do the trick).
5) Save the file, put it back into the .zip file and rename the file to .xpi again
6) In Firefox, press Ctrl+O and open the .xpi file to install it

I've seen something similar on previous updates but a quick restart of the system has always fixed it for me.

You can also go into Tools, Extensions and then Right Click on the Extension and select Disable and then Right Click and Select Enable. After a quick restart of Firefox all should be enabled but don't blame me if any extensions cause problems. :D
