Anyone have this movie. Just wondering if the dvd is worth hiring.

It's a good, satisfying film with lots of talking. It gets a bit too much like a gritty and brutal bootcamp version of Forrest Gump, but it has performances, dialogue and visuals that mesh together to give it a nice texture. It looks good too, grain and raw but with a lot of lush colours. All shot on 16 mm by the cinematographer of Pi and Requiem for a Dream, BTW.

And it stars 'superstar in waiting' Colin Farrell, which is more than enough reason to get it anyway!
