I have taken a photo of my girlfriends head for an application form, just want to know what size to resize her face to, how big is a passport photo?

Any tips on the best way to do this too.....

I would print it at 200-250 DPI to make sure it's a good enough quality.
You also need to print at the correct size for the passport, check www.ukpa.gov.uk (I think) for the right sizes, but it's roughly about 2.5" x 2", which, at 250 DPI would = a resolution of 625 * 500.

Hope this helps :)

Failing that if you wanna host it and post it on here, one of us will do it in Photoshop for you. Takes 2 seconds

I just created a template in Word and then imported the fullsize image and let Word take care of it all, printed on photo paper the results were good enough for a passport pic. Also on the front page of the Passport application form they specify the max size of the pic.
