Is this machine (without an upgraded graphics card) capable of gameing. I guess it will not be ok to shift mega 3d games (Doom3 or Half life) but it will be fine for most other games!
I am totally new to pc gameing so any comments would be much appreciated!
Specs (from memory)...
512Mb
40Gb
Celeron M 360
Intel Media Accelerator 900 Graphics

depends what you want to play
you will be able to play solitaire in full detail and even 8xAA on!
edit: sorry, not very helpful, but as already said, it depends on what game you want to play.

Star Wars galaxies plus that other one when you are a stormtrooper!
Everquest
Dungeon Siege
I guess roaming dungeon and dragons type things!

Anyone?
I realise it's a somewhat vague question, but I am new to PC gameing and would not want my first game to be a let down!
What would be recommended...I am up for most genres apart from driving!
I am going to be visting the shops tomorrow, so any recommendations would be much appreciated!
Intel Media Accelerator ain't going to provide the likes Of Star Wars: Galaxies with any sort of real 3D acceleration :(
Football Manager 2005/2006 will run fine on it though as that is a 2D based game and totally independent of 3D abilities.

"ok" - low res, low texture - probably
high res, high texture - no way

Thanks for the reply......I have not bought this unit for gameing (just as well eh?), but would like to try some stuff out.
Any recomendations for titles that may well suit my machine? Any genre bar driving!

ive got one of these, but have stuck 1024mb of crucial ram in it,
it plays utk4 and ccs not bad at all, as long as you dont have it full on,
even online it plays ok, you get a bit of clipping every now and then but overall I rate it as a top lappy, for the money
oops mines got a 1.73 pentium m, not a celeron
