Canon Zoombrowser 5.5 update now available...

Just a note to anyone who uses the supplied software with Canon cameras that the latest update is ready for download from here...

Sorry about the duff link Leigh, I've only had achance to have aquick play so far so it wouldn't be fair to comment just yet mate. it can be downloaded through visiting canon.com, clicking on the "bebit" link at the bottom of the page & going to the software (drivers & applications) section for your camera model. In ZoomBrowser EX 5.5, the shooting information recorded for each shot, including the shutter speed, exposure and white balance settings, can be saved as a text file. This enables you to save important shooting data that will prove indispensable later when you are organizing images or converting RAW images.


I'm assuming this indicates yes?

EDIT...although this has been posted on dpreview...hth...

Maybe its just on my system, but with 5.0 I could preview any RAW shot in full screen. I can NOT do that with 5.5. This is a must have feature for me so I will be un-installing and going back to 5.0.

Oh well, maybe this will be fixed later.
