ANGEL Season 1 subtitles?

Every single review and retailer so far list only french and dutch subtitles for the coming ANGEL Season One boxset, but it strikes me as odd the lack of english subtitles for this one, something that in addition to the 4:3 cropped screen ratio could be the deciding factor for me to wait up for a future USA release.:(

Please, could somebody with a preview/review copy or an early shipment confirm or deny this?

basically fox is gettin sloppy i think, in terms of subs and dubs season 2 of buffy was the best with every episode having a french dub and subs for nearly every language known to man. however when season three was released there was no french dub and on english subs.................they seem to be getting bored of doin the discs properly.

Actually, the reason why the UK R2 had no French track was because in France it is released in the uncut form the same as the Autralian R4. Hence the R4 is actually dual coded to R2 for mainland Europe(handy for those without multi region players who want the uncut version), for which it has the French Dub and about half a dozen different subtitles.
