I bought the Iiyama a couple of weeks ago and I'm very impressed with it. Admittedly it had a dead pixel but I managed to fix it by gently massaging the area with my thumb.
And it has a 3 year warranty as standard!

About the dead pixel, why didn't you take it back for replacement instead?
Generally they will only replace TFT's with more than, I think its 3, dead pixels. If I was buying one from PC World I would ask for the one I was buying to be tested in front of me first. Some on line shops such as Aria will do a check for dead pixels for an extra £5 or thereabouts.

...Erm Try £19.99+VAT at Aria and even then the dead pixel check is only valid for 7 days!!!!

Bit pricier then I thought. Prefert CRT's anyway. :)

After reading this thread this morning, I popped to PC world to have a gander at the Iiyama 19", and ended up buying 3, one for me, and two for my parents (one each)
.
Running it now, and it`s very nice :notworthy
Thanks for the heads up/

So did I and used to swear by Iiyama until it failed just out of warranty. I buy LG and Dell now. Picture quality on these is as good or better. Also the build quality of the new Iiyamas is not great.

If provided with a screen with dead pixels are you entitled to take it back to the store? ie pc world.

As mentioned above only if the screen has four or more dead pixels or three in a cluster !!

I bought this at £240 earlier this year and was impressed at that price. No dead pixels and a fantastic picture. A bargain.
They had a couple when i was in this afternoon, not sure if they'll have them left tommorow. There is always online though :)

Anyone do any FPS gaming on the Ilyama? Need to know if there'll be blurs/ghosting when thrashing around in CS:S/BF2 and the like.
