Has anybody ordered this from the website in the last few days i.e. since monday? I ordered this on monday and later that day received an email saying it was on backorder which wasnt surprising since it said availability was 7 days. A few hours later i received another email saying it had successfully been cancelled. I emailed them and their reply was:
"Unfortunately this item has been discontinued by the manufacturer from our web-site and as a result your order had automatically cancelled the day you had placed the order. However, I have looked on-line at the product in question and have found that it has still yet to be removed from the web-site. This will be amended shortly."
However i noticed it was still there this morning and not only that the availabilty had changed to in stock dispatched within 24 hours. So i called them up and they basically said the same as the email and it will take a few days to remove it from the site and anyone ordering it will have it cancelled. I asked why it had been updated with instock and she just said she didnt know. I aked her to find out if it was instock and she 'disappeared' for less than 60 seconds only to come back and say she contacted the warehouse and they said it wasnt. The interesting thing is i know someone else who ordered it the same day after me and he to received the back order email but no cancellation and today he said according to his account its been dispatched! What a bunch of jokers! Rant over. :D
