3 to 1 Scart Socket Query

I recently got a scart socket from Argos with my hard earned Premier Points so I don't have to keep pulling the plug out of the back of the TV every time I want to watch a DVD or change over to the Dreamcast/N64.

Howeve, the DVD works but the Dreamcast doesn't...I've read the extremely short instructions and I have tried all of the ports but no joy!

Can anyone please help/comment before I take it back to Argos:brickwall

As far as I know the Dreamcast needs to be plugged into a scart socket that has RGB enabled...usually scart socket 1 on your tv.
If you have the scart box plugged into scart socket 2 on your telly, this may be the problem.

The scart box i have requires u to manually select the dreamcast over the dvd player by flicking a little switch on the box (labelled a / b)

Thats a good point, the one I have from Argos has three switches to change the various inputs!
