I've just received the above from EZYDVD. I am at my work so I can't test it, but there's no mention on the box of it having DTS. Can anyone tell me if it has as I bought it because EZYDVD advertises that it has.

Thanks

Probably:

MichaelDvd (http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Discs/Disc.asp?ID=3162) says yes.

Rewind (http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/comparisons/film_results_page.php?fid=1196) says... Oh, hang about, rewind's broken.

I think YES is the answer.

I'm also pretty sure it does Gordon. I've read countless times that it had, i believe Baz wants to make sure even R2 get the same specs as everyone else.

Just out of interests Gordon what is the packaging like. I'm torn about going R1 or R4. Is it like the Fight Club package or is it in a amaray case?.

Cheers Robby

Sorry, I don't have the Fight Club edition that you have (mines was ex-rental) but the packaging is the same as the SOTL one. It is still sealed (chrimbo prezzie) so I don't know what it is like on the inside. There was also two 13x18cm prints with it which was out of the box so there may be more inside I don't know.

According to reviews of both R1 & R4 discs, the DTS track is there but is strangely not mentioned on the packaging

Actually the R1 has DTS on the spine of the slipcase and on the info sheet stuck on the back.

Yes, the R4 (thankyou *********) definitely does have the DTS soundtrack; and rather splendid it sounds too!

John Hodson,

does the DTS track have any lip synch problems on Nicole's first song.

The R1 has this but the DD track appears ok.

It's apparent on Ewan's Your Song as well.

Just had a quick look and nothing that I can notice; I'm watching the whole thing tonight, anything untoward (apart from the fact that that is *never* Jim Broadbent's singing voice is it!!?) and I'll report back.

No probs at all on the R4; my head's still buzzing - what a movie!
