Has anyone else given this a go. Installed it earlier and seems stable enough. Noticeable changes to IE6 are tab browsing, the address bar being right at the top of the screen, the refresh button is immediately to the right of the address bar and your choice of search engine in the top right hand corner. Annoying thing is the moving of the back and forward buttons. Everytime I go to hit the back button, I click on 'file' instead

Can you not right click on the top of the window (around tab height) and then select the 'lock the toolbars' option and rearrange it how you prefer as you can with the current IE?
You may even be able to move the refresh button using the customise... option.

they're probably using Firefox with an extension to enable mouse gestures.

e.g. http://perso.wanadoo.fr/marc.boullet/index.html

once you get used to it you do never use the back/forward buttons, plus a whole lot more.

Mouse gestures in browsers started with Opera (http://www.opera.com) (see here (http://www.opera.com/features/mouse/) ) - You can also get gestures in Firefox via extensions, or even gestures in Windows with StrokeIt (http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/) amongst others. Basically means you can perform different actions (IE back, forward, reload etc etc) by holding down the right mouse button and making certain movements with the mouse. Once you get used to it theres no going back IMHO.

Yeah I got rid of IE7 weeks ago for the same reason - kept missing the back button! Presumably the interface will be more customisable in future beta's (I hope!)

There doesn't seem to be an option to rearrange any icons. Maybe there will be one later but not at the moment.
