Windows system folder

I bought refurbished laptop a few weeks ago but setings from the previous user are still on.

On the C drive in the documents & settings folder is a folder with all the other users things in. I have tried renaming it to my name (chris) instead of what it is now (audrey) now I know audrey isn't a bad name, but i would like mine on it...

When i rename it & press enter it say that it is a windows system file & cannot be renamed or removed - any ideas.

Could try changing the Audrey user account name in Control Panel/User Accounts and see what that does.

Yep, user account settings will change it partly, although it will still be called Audrey in the Documents and Settings folder.

Other option is to create a new account in your name, make sure it is set to administrator, remove any documents from the audrey account and simply remove Audrey making you the only user.
