I think those are the most violent films that quite a few people know about. I have seen Braindead and Last House On The Left from your list.

Just keep on looking mate - you'll find what you want.

Have you looked at Splatterhouse (http://www.splatterhouse.net)? ;)

I don't think LHOTL is that violent!! It's by no means a family film, but there's much worse out there!!!
Surely Guinea Pig should be on your list Driller_Killer?

Also The Untold Story is a nice n violent HK film to add to your list. Reviews here (http://www.dvdreview.com/fullreviews/the_untold_story.shtml) & here (http://www.bulletsnbabesdvds.com/article.php?sid=5). (Although, both those reviews make it sound a lot worse than it is!)

Neromantik?

And wasn't there a film called "The German Chainsaw Massacre" (or something like that) that was supposed to me non-stop blood and snot!!??

What do you mean by "violent"?

Personally, I think Audition and A Short Film About Killing have far more impact than virtually any of the titles listed above, because although they're less visually graphic, the scenes of violence have far greater psychological impact, making them infinitely more disturbing to watch.

Braindead, by contrast, is a laugh a minute - there's not much practical difference between it and a custard pie-throwing slapstick comedy from several decades earlier!

Tex Avery's Bad Luck Blackie.

Go on, name an Italian cannibal film with an image as distressing as a kitten getting its tongue caught in a mousetrap!

Story of Ricky is very violent but in sort of a comic book style.

Great film though, isn't it? It's a shame I bought the Spanish DVD instead of the German DVD - the Spanish disc has forced subtitles.:(

I thought Buttgereit's Nekromantik was quite tame compared to his film Schramm  tho I don't think Schramms been released on dvd yet and probably never will. Um, hopefully anyway.
And I think Richard Kern's films are the most shocking films I've ever seen. That guy's mind- fubar

Don't forget multi orifice tentacle tentacle rape! Urotsukidoji is good for a laugh. Part II is just watered pap and part III is just unbearably awful sci fi crap with a lot of rape porn thrown in, but part I is pretty good as OTT phantasmagoria and part IV does away with plot and just gets stuck in to the raw depravity.

I recommend the Asian films "Naked Blood" and "Mermaid In A Manhole", both of which are thoroughly delightful family entertainment.

Salo, or The 120 Days of Sodom , while not exactly accessible, is well worth putting on your list.

Available in a ****-poor DVD from the British Film Institute (completely uncut), and a reasonable quality OOP one from Criterion (though one of these went for $670 the other day on Ebay).

 I personally wouldn't let my credit card anywhere near that purchase. But thanks for letting me know about the DVD release.

And I knew about Kerns "Hardcore..." dvd. It's contains over 3 hours worth of his short films, but having been unfortunate enough to have seen The Right Side of My Brain, Manhattan Love Suicides and Fingered et al a few years ago, they're not something I'd make any effort to watch ever again. Although if anyone is after shock value, which Driller-Killer obviously is, then go check em out.
