This actually looks pretty decent, I'm glad they didn't continue along the theme of that initial Sonic tech demo that looked fairly poor.

This makes good use of both 2D + 3D while staying as an old school Sonic game. Looks closer to the originals then the (not bad) GBA Sonic Advance titles.

Might be confusing with all the screen flipping though :D

I thought the E3 Tech demo looked good just absolutely pointless and boring (if it became a game.)

Finally my DS will be getting some attention, with this out on Friday and Mario Kart next week. May give Kirby a look next week as well since I didn't import.

Anyway, Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com/ds/action/sonicds/review.html?sid=6139740) have given Sonic Rush 8.2, and IGN (http://ds.ign.com/articles/666/666139p1.html) have given it 9.0.

I imported Kirby (well, actually, I bought it while in the US) and really enjoyed it. Mario Kart already on the way, and I'm definitely thinking about Sonic Rush. :)

Had a quick play today - and it's just like the sonic of old. The dual screens work well and it doesn't cause any problems (in fact I really like it).

Is it actually out today? I was positive it was, but I went into Gamestation and they had none. Only tried there as I had a £22 credit note.

Yeah, it's out today. I couldn't get it from Gamestation, Woolworths or HMV and had to get it from Game. Strange.

Fantastic game. Really feels like the old Megadrive games. Moving between the two screens all the time makes it seem really frantic.
