I've gone off the idea of having favourite bands.
There was a time when I might have said Radiohead, Spiritualized & Primal Scream, but I don't know if they're still operating at their peak and no-one's come along to replace them (at their best).
If I was to hype a band right now, though, it would be Husky Rescue.

There was point where they all rode on stage on motorbikes, not only that, the bikes were mic'ed up and the whole site was shaking. I never went myself (don't I regret it  ) A mate went though and he said he was pretty much deaf for three days afterwards. :D

(No1)AC/DC. Powerage is still a benchmark album, although they are all brilliant and i've seen them around 12 times live. Fellow Boogie artists, Rose Tattoo, ZZTop, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Fastway etc are also enjoyable.
The Who
Cream
Saxon
Motorhead (check 2004 Inferno, top Album!)
Accept
Early Whitesnake Pre '87
Deep Purple
Glenn Hughes/Tony Iommi
Black Sabbath
Feeder
U2
The Datsuns
Those are the bands i'm always listening too, although I like a lot of new music for a short while it goes stale fairly quickly and in general don't make it passed a month or so.
