I have a Kiss DP-1000, it looks the shizzle, and plays most DVDs. However, lately I'm having one or two problems.
Certain movies won't play properly because they're encoded using the QPel (or similar) codec, a seemingly increasing number infact, so I normally have to download two or more of the same movie until I find one that works (thus having to throw away lots DVDs with the non working files on them!).
Also, certain movies that I burnt from the computer used to freeze up a little, but DVDs played fine, lately though the DVDs have been freezing up too, they only freeze up for a second or two, maybe a few times every half an hour but it's still very, very irritating. When I got the player I was dead chuffed, but now it's just becomming a bit of a pain, anyone else got a Kiss DVD player and experience quite a few compatability/freezing errors?
