Any chance of this ever happening in the UK...

http://www.dvdplaza.com.au/cases/

Unfortunately they only ship to New Zealand and Aus, but these are official ones from Warner (so why on earth do they only like Amaray in R4?. My bet is snappers are only used because they're stuck in some sort of contract they can't get out of).

Whats special about these? why don't you just buy some amaray cases if you don't like the snappers?

Can do, but the special thing is that these contain official slicks(inserts) as replacements from Warner, rather than you having to use crappy inkjet printouts from scans, or try and stuff the cardboard sleeve into the Amaray (complete with rip marks where you've detached the plastic edge, nail marks from trying to open the case, scuff marks, and all other damage you get with cardboard etc).

The site listed is Australian. They supply them in Australia.

It does, but IRC they don't ship the slicks outside of Australia or New Zealand. OK if you know someone living there, but a bit of a bummer otherwise. :(

All I can see is to buy transaprent or black amary cases. It doesn't say anywhere about actual slips for cetain films, or is that the "I'd like to also order replacement Warner cases"

Someone should set up a site like www.cdcovercentral.com but for dvd covers... then people could scan in there R4 covers and upload them... :)

I see so what do you do. Order an Amaray and say you want a slip for a certain title, like The Matrix for example?

The site has an order form listing all the titles available. You select the ones you want, pay the appropriate amount, and they sent you Amaray cases with the covers installed - but only if you live in Aus or NZ :(

Great. dvdcoverart.com is great! Sure, the selection's a little limited right now... but if they've got the cover you want, simply get the dvd, print the cover and order some amarays from good old baps! :):)
