View Full Version : Newbie at Pro Evo PC - anyone want to thrash me online

Hi all.

Just got my new 1mb broadband connection. Will probably get my X Box online in the next few days, but in the meantime can anyone talk me through playing Pro Evo PC online?

I am crap, so I need someone with a bit of patience. Am out at a match tonight, but around all the time tomorrow if anyone wants to talk me through it / give me a game?

Help appreciated!

If you have one, then its a pure lottery to get it working with PES 4 - it sure ain't as easy as XBL believe me :D

Got a Talk talk ADSL 1 meg connection, no router - standard Modem.

Thought you guys might get bored playing me - but i am always keen to learn so you are added. My messenger addy is in my profile by the way if anyone is interested.

I'll be on after the liverpool game tonight.

Can anyone explain exactly how to get online working on the PC. Have tried going to the online option and choosng client or host. Client seems to spend about 5 secs searching before saying there is no-one. Host just seems to stick on searching. :shrug:

unless you're using launcher then it's done manually
hosting - you give your ip, set game to 10 mins, no et or pens (usually) random, club house and fine weather. Ok it then wait.
client - enter in the ip of your msn opponent and wait

thanks to Finlab and matt (from Division one) for tonight. Spent ages trying to sort me out (Finlab, it was a missing patch) and then matt gave me some games up to 12:30am!

Enjoyed it, and ready for more! :)
