OK. There are certain DVD's which don't play on my Samsung 709, and someone told me that you can download upgrades yourself to fix any problems. So I found a site, downloaded the newest version and then found out that you have to program the binary onto an 8-bit wide 32-pin DIP EPROM chip which is 8 Megabits in size, plus you have to build your own EPROM programmer. Now, not being electronically minded I was wondering is there any way around this. Probably not, but worth a shot.
