Please help me find cheap B&W speakers!

As B&W have introduced series 3 of the 600 range, I am on the lookout for the B&W 603s2 main speakers, the LCR6 centre speaker, and possibly the 601s2 for the rears at a reduced price!

Can anyone help?

I have found a few places with some discounts, but not by much :(

This aint exactly a bargain but www.mediacheckpoint.com (http://www.mediacheckpoint.com) are selling the new 603 series 3 for approx £463, approx because i'm not sure if they charge 1 or 2 lots of shipping - £25 for upto 31kg, (they weigh 19kg each). It would obviously be £488 if they charge the p&p x2.
This is a good price for B&W's which are notoriously hard to get discount on but like i said not exactly a bargain.
Their not officialy released till Jan so i would imagine that many dealers will be selling off their ex-demo 603's v.soon.
I'll keep my eyes peeled.

p.s if you come across any bargain MA silver series speakers (3i,5i,8i...av packs etc do let me know,

Got a m8 who would sell his 603s2's and 602s1's (all mint cond) for £480.
Not bad considering Sevenoaks want around £450 for ex-demo 603s2's alone!

Go into Sevenoaks and haggle with the owner.

They can offer 35% discount on ALL B&W speakers and still make a vast profit!

I already own 2 pairs of CDM9T's and they sure as hell didnt cost me the £1800 a pair asking price!

They were almost giving away S2 bundles a while back in What Hi-Fi (can't recall supplier, but it was one of those 4 page advert jobs) - about £400 - £500 with the 603s, centre and rears.

Not quite on the ball with the price, sorry. Still if they haven't any in stock, it's a bit academic. I did have success haggling with audio-t on my DS6 surrounds ... they were ex-display and in great nick (complete with box and instructions) for £280 (RRP £400) ... so there is merit in saying you don't want to pay full whack and would be interested in making an offer on their ex-dems / ex-displays. www.audio-t.co.uk or www.audio-excellence.co.uk both do 2nd hand / ex-dem stuff and individual stores are listed on their sites. Still, you might well know this already ... as you've been around a bit (or so I've heard ;))

I have tried this site and have managed to find them for 347 euros plus p&p, which is around £220 plus p&p which seem bloody cheap!

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong, or is this right!?

Have just figured that could be the price per speaker!

I have a pair of 603S2 but I ain't selling them as they are excellent!

If you buy them second-hand then make sure you get the foam bungs (8 altogether) as they can be used to fine tune the bass if you have them near the walls. They can sound boomy otherwise.
