Laptop plugged into TV problem

Hi All,

I have an IBM Laptop which i am trying to plug in to my TV. I can get it working and with good resolution. However when i play a video in Windows media i only get sound. It shows the picture moving on the laptop but not on the TV.

Can anyone help me?

you have to set the TV as the primary display if both are on. or set it if you can so the TV is the only display?

I have tried that and it did not work. Is there any software i need

how and what eads are you using to conect tothe tv ??

press the Fn+ video out button again, you need to make sure that the laptop screen is switched off, amking the tv the primary output.
