View Full Version : cheap(er) supplier for Tempur pillows?
Like a few of the forumites i'm suffering at the moment from neck-pain induced headaches. i've decided to try a tempur pillow as they seem to have good reviews and it's about the same price as a couple of sessions with a chiropractor... so i might as well try it.
i have seen them on ebay and directly from tempur but is there a supplier that's cheaper than tempur but more reliable than ebay?
thanks :)

did have a link, will try and find it when i get home this evening. tempur is the "trademark" or a brandname if you like for that type of material (memory foam) but other suppliers do provide it, and cheaper too...
edit - found it.

brother got a mattress from there and it is extremly comfortable and supportive according to them.
Tempur actually do make pillows under their own name too. I brought this one (http://www.tempur.co.uk/page2759.asp) last year from Selfridges and it's really quite good.

Try before you buy
Whilst the matteresses are brilliant the pillows I found to be not so good
The softer - more moldable one gave me nothing but headaches and poor sleep whilst the harder shaped pillow is more designed for those who sleep on there backs
Neither pillow for me is that good but my Dad who due to have a back disability has never had better nights sleep than when using them
Try before you buyhmm that's probably good advice, but from what i've been reading on other threads here it can take up to a fortnight to get used to the pillows. :( i really don't know what to do... whether the generic ones are as good as the proper tempur branded ones....i'd be willing to pay full whack if it meant i'd not have these pains and headaches...it's really getting me down at the moment :(
Ok i have purchased a tempur original queen pillow for £59.95 from www.danielstores.co.uk - had to order it over the phone as they don't have internet ordering, but delivery was free. so i'm quite pleased as that's about £20 cheaper than rrp. remains to see whether it (a) arrives and (b) is actually any use. but at least if i can't get on with it i can ebay it, they seem to go for good money there.
thanks everyone :)
