I've got a double monitor set up here at work, and two identical monitors (Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 73), but they're a bit on the dull side colour wise, and working in print and webdesign, it's a bit of an issue. Within the advanced desktop settings panel, I can adjust the colour for the monitor running direct from the VGA port, but when viewing the settings for the monitor running off a DVI>VGA converter, the tab for colour settings dissapears.

Is there a way of changing the colour through DVI at all? Should the DVI colours be correct, and I'm just wrong in my assessment of blues/reds, or are the monitors to blame?

I can't change the physical monitor settiings, they're all maxed out, and need to be to get a decent brightness.

I don't think there is, DVI colours are "set".

I would say your CRT monitors are to blame. From what I can find they are a resonably 'old' monitor so you must have had them a while?

All CRT's begin to loose their vibrancy over their lifetime.

I think Raymondlin is correct in stating that DVI is fixed, colour wise.

That's what I thought - oh well, I guess i'll just have to trust that the monitors are still accurate, and check on other people's to see what the differences might be.
