View Full Version : Leon
To start with this may be in the wrong forum so please move it if it is...ta!:D
My question is which version of Leon was on c4 last night? was it the international version you can get from play on R1 or some special cut that only c4 have? I own a copy of the cut video but i would like the version where they tell each other that they love each other. Any help would be great...CHEERS:D

It's the cut version, not exactly cut, but the original version. The R1 DVD is 24 minute slonger and is "Leon The Professional - Uncut International Version (Version Integrale)".... It's well worth it, the 24 minutes are really excellent, it doens't srag at all and the dvd is a good buy, you can't go wrong! I doubt they'd ever show the USA version on TV over here... :)

My question is which version of Leon was on c4 last night? The 'normal' non-director's cut in Widescreen (albeit cropped to 1.85:1) with approx. 3 adverts - effectively giving it a running time that may have confused people into thinking it was the director's cut.
BTW - True Romance screened the previous night was the director's cut!
But how come there were the references to them loving each other? This is not in the video that i own. Is it just the version they show on the telly? And what sort of things are included in the extra 24 minutes?
Thanks for all the help so far...I feel myself being drawn towards play247....

The quality extra scenes all build on the relationship between Leon and Mathilda... They turely are excellent. If you like the film, the R1 is the ultimate edition undoubtadely, just watched it again and like it even more! :):) hehe...
