As for the Normal League

If you would like to become a reserve please let me know. It would be advantageous if you could get everything set up and play a few online games against other members as I would like reserves to be able to step in straight away. If you have played some online games against forum members I will guarantee you a place in Superleague 2.
Once the season has kicked off, Reserves will step straight into the shoes of whoever has dropped out.

I play far better with a team with a team that isn't Spanish in fairness. Even Sporting Lisbon were Portugese (which may as well be Spain :p ) and I got relegated with em. Really wish I'd picked Spurs again now :(

2 games stolen basically - first I was 1-0 up in 2 minutes, then john spawned 3 tap ins...one of them after my 2 central defenders sandwiched my own keeper out of the way.
2nd I was on top the whole game, cruising, even after Van Bommel was straight red-carded for ****-all then john spawns a header in the 83rd minute from a free-kick tha never was.
I thought john had improved considerably, but he's just gotten luckier

Just need to space the games out - was staying up far too late and playing far too many too often. Just looked at the xbox PES4 league table and was shocked to see i'd played 24 games in about 5 days :eek:

First game Stevie dominated me on the pitch :suspect: and deserrved the win. Spent most of the game defending. 2nd match I swapped to my more attacking formation and after about 15 minutes had 1 decent shot on net for about 4 of Stevies. After that I seemed to be more focused and aggresive with my X tackles. Won a few balls and got myself in better positions. Once Stevie was 2 down you could his team was demoalised which just opened the gates even more for the mullet crew.

it really was the Adriano and Henry show, both games. in the first Adrian was on a grey down arrow, and was still awesome.

If i'd converted my 1 on 1's, the results could have been so much different.
But once you went 2 up, you started knocking the ball about much better and really got into your stride.

I reckon i derserved a point from the first game, defended like a hero, until the last seconds and Br00n get a ******** penalty. wasn't best pleased. Completely out played in the second though. Only had one shot in the first half :doh:

After we gave up, i looked at the task manager cpu manger, and it was pulsing up to 100% usuage with no applications running!

First game was really tight till 2 late goals broke the Gooners spirit. Second game saw Rivaldo run riot with a hattrick that left the Wenger Boys looking a little dispirited. Henry did score a quality goal on the volley from a Reyes cross but that only glossed over another glory filled 90 mins from the Greek Gods :lol:

Very close due to a couple of chances that I should have scored early in the 1st half. Belly scored 1st with an amazing halfvolley only for Baros to score with a crafted header on the half time whistle.
2nd half was very close with a number of chances either way only for Garcia to grab a winner with the last kick of the game in about the 93rd min with a careful passing move down the right and across to the left that ended with Garcia sidefooting past the helpless Inter keeper!
Deserved? Maybe... close? Oh yes! :D
Belly - can't get back into MSN for some reason now (says service is down) so i'll look out for you over the weekend :thumbs:

When I'm taking a beating, I don't limit my bandwith so as the action moves at one frame per second, I actually try and play the game.
I've had absolutely *zero* problems with my connection, and I play as client every ******* time, yet I get 2-0 up in a game I'm expected to lose, and suddenly jerk-o-vision turns up.

The various hosts say that they are not running anything in the background...
However to my knowledge, my hosting is fine.
Not sure whats going on atm......
Oh yeah, why can't people close ********** MSN down when playing matches as its so CPU intensive and when contacts log in or out it creates momentary lag.
Its not like you can send people messages when playing... :doh: :brickwall

You take 2-0 into a new game. Don't think we can really throw mud at anyone and we should really be giving the benefit of the doubt.

Well ok, I can accept that at the exact moment I popped my 2nd goal in, the connection dropped...no worries.
Just a coincidence obviously....

I will sort it with lou when i talk to him next. Basically he said he was gettin lag, we paused the game to sort it out and it timed out the connection.

This isn't lag mate.
I play every single game as client, and its never been a problem, except when stevies pc went mental tonight :D
This is when there is obviously some background task being introduced, either deliberately or not, which causes like a rythmic(sp?) pulsing effect, that is exactly how the game behaves when someone has downloads/uploads going.
I know because I've had people admit to leaving (insert your favourite file-sharer) running by mistake - when it's switched off, everything runs smoothly.
But when it happens as soon as the replay for my 2nd goal has finished, despite being fine for the rest of the match, then sorry I have to ask questions...

Out of interest what is the rule for disconnections and the starting scoreline for the re-match....? The rules don't seem to be posted.
Seems to be a bit unfair if we still use the rule as per the league(s) before this one, if for instance a player is 2-0 to the good (or better) and the game disconnects and in the re-match that player has to start with a 1-0 scoreline...... :?:
Alright, you have asked the question, I had nothing running. I am offering to start the game 2-0 up and fanny about for 30mins on the pro evo clock. That will give you time to check the lag. If its still laggy we can start under the same conditions another day. 100% dont know wot was goin on Lou. Can i do any more than that to prove i dont do that ****.

so i popped over my bros whose just round corner with 2 meg line set up pes on his comp told him to not run anything and give me a game when i got home i did same and hosted he said he had no probs
then he hosted and i got lag of around half a second wasnt to bad but was there i have had ntl out to check my line and they say its fine they even turned up the feed to my line whatever that means to near max they can
my comp is new and pretty fast

The player starts with whatever score was in force at the disconnection. It is only the recorded result that counts 1-0 in the event of a victory.
In this case Lou would take a 2-0 scoreline into the replay.
3. DISCONNECTED GAMES
3.1 If you are disconnected then you replay the match with the current scores added to the replayed match (For league purposes the first match is always deemed as a 1-0 scoreline).
e.g.
Team A winning 5-0 against Team B before disconnection.
Team A wins 3-0 in replay.
Match result is 4-0.
Team A winning 2-1 before disconnection.
Team B wins 3-2 in replay.
Match result is 3-3 DRAW
Team A winning 2-0 before disconnection.
Team B wins 3-0 in replay.
Match result is 3-1 victory for Team B
I've offered to start the game as it was at the time it disconned.

Well played Tequila. I was outclassed in both as anyone could have guessed but in the 1st I held on for quite awhile. Had a header cleared of the line when it was 1 - 0.
It was all downhill after that

With regards to the lag conversation, i find i get the worst against the prem players, maybe that's why they are up there ;)
The worst type is the non jerky type. You can tell it's laggy because your player feel slow, and always seem to take ages to pass etc, playing in treacle i call it
I think everyone suffers from that kind of lag, I know I do.
Good games BTW, the first was close and I think moving Dyer up front in the second game made a big difference for me (Kluivert and Shearer up front lacks pace).
In some ways, I like the Client Lag (to a certain extent) as I like the "Home and Away" variances. But of course, it can quickly cross a line where it becomes just plain **** to play :D

1st - Very close with very little in terms of goal chances apart (3 each I think) from a 20 yarder that hit the post and went off for a goal kick.
Played a very attacking formation in the 2nd and found myself 4-0 by 80 mins. Slackened the reigns a bit after then and PJG scored 2 cracking goals to pull the score back to a respectable scorelin.

A change of tactics, lead to a change of fortune for Real. Playing more offensively give me more options up front to make use of the quality players they have. AC Milan did not have to seem to have their shooting boots on, however in the second game, they definately had their nutter heads on in the second, getting 3 sent off and 2 yellow carded. However dirty, it worked, I seemed to be very confused with all the space and my game went to pot.

2 suprisingly similar games. score doesn't show a real representation of the 1st. similar amounts of shots and possesion, but in the first Adriano scored 4 from 4 shots. the other was a strange deflection. pjg's consolation goal was a peach though. 2nd was lots of opportunity each end with that man Adriano getting the clincher.

before Gunner posts our results can I just say that I have never played so well and got so stuffed before. Barca were on fire for 35 minutes and then BANG, ROnaldo and Owen just took over. Everything they hit went in and I mean everything.

First game was a really tight affair with me creating very little and Moko creating a few. Snuck in a cheeky goal to snatch all 3 points.
Second game was close at 2-2 and you scored a great couple of goals (volley and a diving header). Then, I whip in a cross with Raul, no player of miine in sight, yet it hits a defender and goes in 3-2. Then it seemed I scored every chance I had, strange result considering we both had 12 shots. :?:

Good game matey, yup, not sure what happened in that game. The first goal was a first time shot by Baros and by the time he received the ball it was already in the net! It's as if it missed out a few frames of animation!
Something weird happened with the game, It's like I was playing without sound! You played very well though, several passes meant one to one with the keeper and if hadn't been for Hyypia's long legs then you would have scored a lot more. I played a bit better in the second half thank god!

You can also get a clue as to who the ball went off before the ball goes over the touchline, as a double noise is a clue to it coming back off the player in posession

You can also here the whistle go when a goal is disallowed for offside. I have my sound turned off now as I think it was causing the problems I used to have. Much prefer playing with the sound on though.

Daz_75 was really unfortunate to just pick up the 1 point but hopefully my glitch has been eradicated after some woeful performances tonight :lol:

I equalised in the first game after Daz ran the ball into his own net and then snatched a late winner. In the second I took an early lead and then managed to hang on for the win. Two close games - well played Daz :thumbs:

2 cracking games. The addicks went 1 up early in the first game, and witheld the severe pressure that the Milan boys were applying. At half time belly had 12 shots to me feeble 2. 2nd half i turned the tables a bit, outshooting Belly, 4-1, but Belly's one shot led to an equaliser. I had an oppurtunity to stop the goal by hacking the Inter forward down, but i resisted. Never again!!!
2nd game was more of the same, but with Belly taking the lead. I got a 2nd half equaliser, but unfortunately Belly got the winner with 7 minutes remaining.

2 good games there m8, you did really well with Charlton, who are (in the game, no offence now) an inferior team and could easily have won either game. Kiely saved them in the first game with a breathtaking display of athletics. similar in the second butmanaged to get the winner. in the 2nd game i had all 3 stirkers (adriano, vieri and recoba) on yellow, should have won by a country mile. sadly i am stuck on grey!

2 good, hard fought games. in the first br00n was cruising and had all the possesion only for Adriano to score with a couple of minutes left (not a cut back or cross i might add)
2nd game was very 1 sided i had 4 shots to Br00n's 19! i took the lead with a recoba header and then br00n got angry and scored 2 in quick succesion. i couldn't get the ball off him for long enough to get another shot in after that.

School ICT Techie - school hols at the moment of course so I only work 9.30pm till 3pm at the latest. Casual clothing throughout, no boss around, iPod blasting all day through external speakers and DVDs via the classroom projectors once I've finished up my work for the day.
Oh, and full pay of course :D

Match Report 1 (dazkelly): Bayern have some really, really hard defenders when in the right hands so my rather weak in the upper body strikers just kept bouncing off them. Eventually managed to sneak 4 points when they probably where not really deserved TBH.
Match Report 2 (Kipp): Truely hate playing against Arsenal - trying to keep a strikeforce of Reyes, Van Persie, Henry and Bergkamp is just exhausting. Never really contributed to the Away match where an easy Henry goal just broke the Greeks' spirit. Second game was more of the same but this time I managed to bundle a sloppy goal via a goalline scramble to salvage the 3 points.
Match Report 3 (Loates123): Was, TBH, coasting in the first half at 1-0 with AC Milan posing no real threat. That was till Rivaldo got bundled over by Pirlo and the dreaded Yellow + appeared. That was just before HT. 45 mins later and some tactical reorganising, AC just pulled a toothless Olympiakos apart. Second game saw Nesta I think score a rather unfortunate OG in the first half and AC were never able to find the net to equalise that goal despite some heavy pressure.
A decent night's work against some top players - at least I kept a 100% home record :D

First game was just totally ruined by the bizarre radar colouring. Both in our away kits which sees Valencia play Yellow, Blue and Red with Olympiakos in a dark blue. So PES4 decides to allocate yellow to me and dark blue to Bolch making the Radar an absolute menace to use! Was just glad to get a point from it! :D
Second game saw me fall 1-0 down for the umpteenth time but a decent fightback and an injury time goal from Castillo added a little bit of gloss to the score. Well played though Bolch :thumbs:

With the radar and my dismal away form, I was more than relieved to escape wit h the draw - seems a while ago now since I picked up that away win with Rivaldiakos :lol:

That's it for me. As the SL is over 3 seasons I can safely pack up playing for a bit and concentrate on WE9 on PS2 for a bit.
Gash season, really gash. Not taking anything away from Daz (or everyone else who has beaten me) but try as I may it just is not happening.

Nah, I'm going to play a load of WE9 on PS2 to practice. (when the bugger turns up).
I'm also going to change the PS2 pad I'm using on my PC - from the silver one to the black one. I'm sure that'll make all the difference. :cry:

well played Bolch, gave me a lesson in PES4 last night. had loads of shots and, even the dependable Adriano couldn't score. one of those 'think i might take up knitting' moments really.

Good to face another 'mortal' team and it was a real defensive battle. First game was a 'vanilla' affair with not much happening full stop with defences utterly dominating. Second game started off the same but a little spell of Olympiakos pressure ended in a Rivaldo goal to give me the vital lead. Second half saw Charlton utterly and totally dominate with so many efforts just whistling past the Frame of the Goal or headers just deflected wide or fumbled saves falling to Olympiakos defenders! :D
I think its still just the one dropped home game so far (against gunner) with the rest I believe in the Win Column - yay me!! :D :lol:

Two v.close games. 2 goals gifted to Jon in the first game lost me it and at 1-3 it was too much to claw back.
2nd game I created the better chances and took the lead 17mins from the end. At last I thought. Then Jonny nearly scored at the other end but Dida with a fine stop kept me ahead.

Yeah cheers Brendon. Bit gutted about the 2nd game Note to all players, ensure weather is set to fine!. First half did more than enough to secure a win apart from put the ball in the back of the net, a good 4/5 chances which may of been converted with no lag. 2nd half all hell broke out in the Bolch household with me getting dragged in an argument between our kid and the parents. Then had Dad shouting as my tea was ready with about 70 minutes on the clock.

Stung by a Houllier-like effort from the Champions of Europe. Didi Hamann was just unbreakable and was glued to Rivaldo throughout :D
He then went and scored a diving header from a short corner routine - just not good indeed. In fact, as I said to Matt, I felt like I lost to myself with that sort of 'Hit and Run' sort of victory :D
Game 2 is to be played either later tonight or over the weekend - looking for my revenge :thumbs:
