Hi folks,

The nice guys I bought my av package off gave me two digital co ax cables by mistake. I'm using one to connect my dvd player to the amp but I'm curious to what I could use the other for. Would it be of any benefit to use it connect the amp to the receiver?. Currently it just has a very light rca (think that's what its called?) connection. I suppose the obvious thing is to try it

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks,
Mick

not sure exactly what you mean by amp to receiver, you mean rca as in 2 audio phonos (red and white)? a digital coax is actually interchangable with a video phono (usually yellow) cos they're both 75ohms (or something like that) - I dunno if they are interchangeable with audio phonos but you can give it a try (you'll need a pair though) :)

Sorry about that last post - meant to say receiver to sub. Anyway I tried it last night and I think there's a marginal improvement over the cable that was there.

Thanks,
Mick
