A Soft Nights Day

Just bought <i>A Hard Days Night</i> over here for an extortionate amount and was wondering how it compares to other versions (if they are out). I searched on Amazonco.uk and found nothing at all for the Region 2 release and when searching on .com I found the US release but it was not available until 2010. Any of you own a copy of this masterpiece?

There is a German release which I have ordered from Amazon.de, but which is yet to arrive - this being a second attempt after the first one went missing in transit (and they make you wait 31 business days before they will resend!!). If and when it does eventually arrive, I will post my thoughts here.

And speaking of extortionate, the cost of standard airmail from Germany to Australia (well, Amazon at least) was almost one third more than the cost of the DVD itself!! Suffice to say, I will not be buying from them again.

On the subject of great music DVDs, I did get the Clash Rude Boy and have their other The Clash - Westway to the World on the way - both from Amazon UK.

Forgot to add that the Japanese DVD version is Anamorphic
and has a DTS soundtrack.

I will let you know when I get it. Being located in Sydney, these things take about 10 days to arrive from the UK.
