Production values and wow factor. Which movies should I watch 1st?

Only days until my home cinema components arrive. Which movies are recognised as must sees?

I'm thinking:

The Matrix
Gladiator
T2:UE

Any new releases, perhaps movies I haven't seen?

face/off or the rock or armageddon perhaps (both good demo discs)?
die hard trilogy :)

SW Phantom Menace is a must for constant sound quality throughout the whole film.

Also, Godzilla will give your system a damn good work out to! :)

Shrek / Cast Away / Fight Club / Unbreakable (All R1)...

The tracks I've been most impressed with :
The THX 'noise' - at the begining of certified discs.
'Fight Club' - There was a water dripping sound about 2/3s of the way through the film that's placed out to the right that I went into my kitchen to check if the taps were dripping !
T2:UE - There were several sounds in the DTS track that sounded incredibly realistic (given the subject matter ;) )
Die Hard 3 - DTS track on R1 SE is astounding.
