View Full Version : 28" w/s recommendations
Looking for any recommendations to buy OR avoid any 28" widescreens.
Something in the £500-£600 region
Flatscreen with 3 scarts preferably
Thanks
If you look at a 28" WS tv the screen size is roughly equivalent to a 25" 4/3,I know 3 people who have bought a 28"ws tv and regretted it,think about a 32"they can be had for around the £600 mark and will give a much more cinematic experience IMO:)
Yeah I realise this but it's not for me its for my parents and they've decided on a 28" considering they have had the same old 21" for the past 15 years I'm sure it will be big enough!
Anyone with any other opinions??

Haven't you anything better to do????? ;)
P.S. thanks for the ^bump^
Depends on how big your living room is really - mine's fairly titchy, so the jump from 21" to 28" was plenty for me.
Thoroughly recommend the Toshiba 28ZD07B at Home Electrical Discounts (http://www.hed.co.uk) - I don't own one, but I want one. They have the best deal : under 600 nicker, plus free delivery, and 6 months interest free too. Normally goes for around £750-ish
Got good reviews in Home Entertainment (http://www.home-entertainment.co.uk) although not sure if the review is online yet.
Hope this helps :)

The Tosh clayts mentions is also available at www.storeplus.co.uk for exactly the same price (£566.99 delivered). Hardly surprising as Storeplus use HED to provide their TV products. No 6 months interest free period with this company, but sign up for your own storeplus store (free and full hosted by storeplus, simple form to fill in) and this TV could be yours for as little as £482 delivered! I think you'd be hard-pressed to find this TV cheaper than THAT anywhere else!!
