Toshiba Rear Projection Problems?

Typically after ordering my Tosh RPTV I now read that members have had problems with them....and some serious enough to require service engineers attention.

That HUGE thread on RPTVs is getting too cumbersome to thumb through easily so can I have a quick show of hands and a quick vote on your satisfaction.

43" RPTV, 2 years old, used lots, no problems at all.

40" W/S RPTV, first one turned up with colour distortion over a 6 x 3 approx triangle in bottom LHS of screen (bit like serious convergence problems but very localised), otherwise very good. Service engineer unable to fix, so new set received a couple of weeks later (last week), this one has no problems, but as of yet they haven't collected the original TV, so I have 2 40" W/S TVs (not sure whether to luagh or cry;) ).
Happy overall though, picture with broadcast TV not too good, but with DVDs is awesome.

Tosiba 43" RPTV, 6 months old, no problems apart from the fact it highlights any broadcast/VHS deficiencies.

DVDs look fantastic, as does digital TV - my analogue reception is a bit on the ropey side in comparison...
