Here we are guys. Pick your team for the Super League. You will pick ANY team, but no team will be allowed more than 3 times. (ie if Moko, Drel and Floyd all pick Boro then Boro can't be chosen by anyone else.) You will select in the order that is shown below.

I think there is an limit on how many times one team can be picked (I think 3 people per team) hence the seeding. I think I'm pretty safe with 1 of my 2 teams :thumbs:
Can't wait to hand out beatings to teams who will expect to rule with a Barca or AC Milan at their disposal! :D :D :D

Daz: Yeah sure. You can run the Super League, I'll run the normal leagues and will hire someone for the FA Cup. Just need to get your stuff working in IE somehow. Will see if I can sort out some part of my hosting to allow you to upload to my site so it should work.

I'm guessing things will start next week. With the Super League running over 3 normal leagues though I guess we could let you in and let you catch up. As someone who finished their league games first in the past I know you're good for it

Lol - Works fine in IE, it FF thats the problem. I'll put extensions on the file tonoght and see if that makes any difference (not that I think it will). Other than that we'll have to see how you get on with your idea!

This was exactly what I was going to say - with it being soooo many games, Nils will have plenty of time to catch up. According to your list Bolch, there are 38 peeps involved, so 74 games each!

like the idea of red and yellow card count, but it's so easy to forget to look.
Hawaiian Floyd has chosen Barcelona.
Before I get asked each team can be chosen 3 times. Being that Floyd is 3rd choice he was guaranteed any team he wants. Following the same logic Jabra is guaranteed any team except Barcelona as Drel + Moko might also take Barcelona. using up all 3 Barcelona spots.

Since i wont be in the other leagues cups i will be able to catch my games and finish them off :D
As for my team i will pick Monaco as i dont see anyone else having picked them 3 times by the time my pick comes around

Yep Monaco have those players online, you can check to see what players are in which team online by going to the edit player mode and looking at the teams.
I one thing to consider though is that the option file is bound to be updated during the super league so you may have Saviola for only a short while.

I could see another Launcher update which could seriously shake things up but not another Wolf update. That won't appear till Pro Evo 5 arrives on the PC :D
Saviola is a no mans land at Barca I believe still - he can't find himself another club currently but at the moment, he is still a Barcelona player.
I think I will go with Barcelona.

That seems fair enough. Anyone unable to pick because they're on holiday will get their league team. Although I'll allow them to change to whoever they want upon their return.

There was a couple of concerns about playing the same team over and over again so we seeded the players and stipulated no more than 3 of the same team

I think with NTL you get a couple of mail boxes so you could try doing that.

Based on my success with Sporting Lisbon and to a lesser extent my warm up games with Sevilla I'm quite looking forward to playing with a top 10 rated team :D
Current state of play....
Kipp has gone for Arsenal
Ono can't have his 1st pick (Arsenal) if Daz chooses them but is guaranteed is 2nd pick (Inter). Gunner opted for Real Madrid via email and based on Ono's top 2 choices I can grant Real Madrid to Gunner now.
Over half way through the selection process now :clap:
Ricflair - By the time we know what's happening Arsenal will of gone along with Barcelona. So if I've worked this out right you can pick any team, however AC Milan and Liverpool are both on 2 choices. If you pick one of those as your first choice it may be gone if Daz_75 wants them.
So either give me any team apart from AC Milan and Liverpool or Give me 1 of those teams and a 2nd back-up choice (your first and 2nd choice could include both AC and Liverpool). If it doesn't make sense give me a shout on MSN.

the leadtek ones are supposed to be very good and excellnt coolers on them
the 6800 chips have been ceased production for a few weeks now by nvidea so soon these cards will shot back up in price

Like everyone I play for fun, and there's no fun whatsoever in getting beat 6-0 every game - so like everyone else, I've picked a big team. I'll still lose the majority of games, but I will get to touch the ball more than twice, and still get some fun out of it.

i was 99 percent going to do this and played a few games offline they were excellent with the 2 fast awsesome strikers upfrnt one being yakin
i played online a few times only to find the pesonline update no longer has these players they have moved on and vfb is a great steaming pile of poo

Which is fair enough for the Div.2 and Div.3 guys - its more the Premier League guys showing some cahunas and going with the lower ranked teams. If I was to pick Barca or Real, I'd almost feel guilty if I pummelled people 7 or 8 nil because it'd almost be unfair :D
The league is the big test - if you can prosper with lower teams against an entire pool of big fish teams, you can look yourself in the mirror and be proud of your Pro Evo skillz :dork:

tbh though jon i agree with what youre saying i have never had a great team in leagues and have always had to chase a game and play on the break with good defending i dont think i would know how to play with a proper team thats why i choose dortmund although not great they can counter attaack pretty good and have some good fast players well at the minute
koller ethwerton and rosicky the 3 best are all likely to leave soon as dortmund are in financial trouble and looking to sell so if they go and pesonline updates thats that lol

Well teams like Lyon, A.Madrid, Monaco, Liverpool, Parma, Galatasaray etc - not the utter crud of the game but not the elite teams of the game :D
But hey, if you feel the need to pick elite teams, then its entirely up to yourselves and I certainly like the options available - but I applaud people who are taking Charlton, Monaco, Newcastle etc as it'll be a good laugh indeed playing against different outfits. It'll be a welcome relief from 4 games in a row against Eto'o and Ronaldinho :gag: :D

Just checked and I think Ronaldo9 is away at the moment until 31st. Based on this and his username I'm going to assign him Real Madrid. I know I said I'd give them their league team if they didn't show up to pick but as I imagine he'd choose Real Madrid it's who I'm putting him down for. It's my compo don't like it tough :razz: I'm just trying to get things moving. If he wants to swap for another team when he gets back he can but they'll be no taking of Real if he changes.

No Im sticking with PSV who have only lost 2 of their best players instead.
Well I know Rivaldiakos have lost Giovanni in real life so I have something to lose from an Online Roster update so I'm certainly walking a tightrope - as long as the main man survives plus Castillo, I'll be okay :D

Well Van Bommel has gone - he scored an absolute peach against Ono tonight, and old Parky has ****** off to Man Utd, but I'm confident the nucleus of my team will remain - was tempted to go for Chelsea in case they sign Schevchenko though :lol:
And Alex is arguably one of the finest defenders in the game - he wee'ed all over Henry against Ono earlier.
