Hopefully someone with a healthy knowledge of early-90s strummage can enlighten me...

There seem to be two slightly different releases of the 'Dive's recent best-of - one of them as offered by Play (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://playcom.at/thedvdforums^QS^DURL=http%3A//www.play.com/play247.asp%3Fpage%3Dtitle%26r%3DCD%26title%3D179036%26p%3D34%26g%3D48%26pa%3Dsr) and the other at Amazon (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump.php?url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002QPTM6/thedvdforums-21).

Since I don't know these tunes as well as I should, can anyone venture an opinion as to which I should throw my notes at?

Ta in advance :)

I once saw Slowdive at North Staffs Poly (supported by the fabulous Faith Over Reason) and they were sensational, a really, really good live band. I was surprised - I thought they might be a tad disorganised but oh no. Ah, those were the days ...

The CD ? Not a clue - sorry ! :)

I believe there's only one version available and the tracklisting Amazon has is correct (altough AFAIK the cover Play has is the right one).

Cheers

It did seem odd that there'd be more than one release, but from experience it's always worth asking...

Looking forward to reacquainting myself with these :)

Mine has the tracklist as shown by Amazon but I have the front cover that is shown by Play. Just like StuBruise said.
