Best £500 Amp for Stereo

...more a personal choice than anything else. Pretty much all of the stereo amps in this price range will sound good and which one you prefer may be very different to whot someone else likes. It also depends very much on what type of CD/DVD player you are using as a source and what speakers you have. My advice is to go to a couple of dealers and get a proper demo with your CD player and speakers and then decide for yourself.

Remember, if it sounds good to you, then it is good.

(Apologies if you meant which AV amp costing £500 is best for stereo...)
