There are no deadlines this season as we have established, reliable players.
But if a feel a player is lagging behind with very little effort being made to play games, I will remove them.

I've got about 3 weeks before my 1st child is born, so you can imagine im rather keen to get as many of my matches played early as my time will be limited after then!

Feel free to add me (GT: SaintM) and send me an invite if you see me on. I don't tend to play many non-league matches so it may be wise to give me a prod on here or via email if we need to play. I'm able to play most week nights with enough notice.

Good luck for the season and I just hope that the mighty Saints can give you bigger teams a run for your money!

I actually preferred Chelsea to Inter in the couple of games last night.:thinking: I think it's important you find a team that suits your style of play in Pro Evo.

Thanks for the games, I was expected to get my a**e whooped but as I was saying I think the main difference was in the finishing with the rest of our play being fairly close.

It could be either of you, but i'm inclined to think its Serla as you've palyed for the last 4 seasons with no problems.

Try the following

run the Xbox Live connection diagnostics : go to your Xbox Dashboard, click "Settings"->"Network Settings"->"Connect". Once the connection wizard has completed (hopefully succesfully), press "Y", then "A" - what are the NT, MT and IC figures?

Basically its the NT number thats the most important. ideally these should both be at 1. But in your case one of your NTs will be at 2 or 3 which means in simple terms that you connection is more 'closed' than somebodies with an NT of 1 who will have no problems connecting to people.

Port forwarding, if configured correctly, normally solves the NT problem ... but what I would recommend you do is put the Xbox IP Address (available on the Xbox Dashboard->Settings->Network Settings->IP Address) in the router's DMZ. I assume you are using a router.

Two very close matches. The roma home match especially had me sweating when a dubious penalty was awarded. I scored near enough straight from the kick off though to grab the 3 points.

My home match was much of the same, but with added crappy fouls by me. Sorry mate, a few of those fouls were totally pointless and from frustration. As it happens the overall stats showed I only committed two more fouls that you, but mine were awful and I feel pretty low about them.

Good close games overall, and scott deserved at least a draw from one of them.

If it was not for this forums frankly crazy rules where you are ok to start a thread about masturbatiion over teddy bears, but you get banned if you say the F word, I would give my true account of these matches.

I was 3-0 up (to be fair that was flattering, 1 or 2-0 would of been more realistic) and 3 goals conceeded in quick sucession grabbed a draw. The 3rd was down to lag, but I think it was most likely my end as my Nildram connection seems a bit flakey tonight. I got a pen in the dying seconds, but like throw-ins and free kicks, penalty taking is a roll of the loaded dice. A dire last few mins for me.

My home match was a different matter.. It was as if all my players had been replaced by the under-developed brothers of the keystone kops. Some frankly idiotic goals were conceeded and I also had a taste of my own medicine when several times I was hacked down when attempting to make a break. I expect an apology shortly! :P

Very dissapointing to only get a point from them, but good games all in all.

Yeah i noticed during my home game that you preferred to give away free kicks down the wings, so i decided to do it back as it stopped you getting any sort of passing going. Sorry!

I had 2 of the worst pieces of lag i've eveer had during that game where the game froze for a couple of seconds. Luckily neither were during anything important.

A collection of the most bizarre and unfortunate goals I've ever seen. In the second match if my defence wasn't having a chat in your half, or the linesman having a cup of tea then the goals were bouncing in off any player in the box - the one where the keeper knocked it in was the funniest. It's also the first time I've seen the keeper collect the ball with his hands and then have a penalty awarded against him! :nuts: To be fair I didn't deserve anything from either match but the scorelines were a little harsh I feel. I'm not surprised my shouting was heard all the way in Scotland. It's a shame the game was released before everyone found out how good Cech, Robben , Terry and Lampard are - I suspect Chelsea will be a better pick in PES5!

I expected a real thrashing after you scored so quickly, and you duly delivered!!

I havent been taking my chances very well this season, hence why I've only got 1 win in 10 games. I had a good formation with Charlton the season before last and got some good results. Tinkered with it last season, to its detriment, now i can't seem to get it back to what it was!!!

One question for all of you long time Xbox pro evo players, when I take a long kick out I can never win a header against you better guys (I think Gunner won all but one last night) , what button should I be pressing to challenge for the header (both when I'm attacking and when I'm defending?) :?:

The heading is all about timing, it is best to try and guess the header early when defending, and you then get in position and compete better.

Yes Cheers mate they were both good games, my palms were sweating in that second game, I thought I was coasting at 2-0 then you pegged it back and then again when I got to 5-2 I was thinking that I had a good bit of goal differnce for a change. Little did I know you would come back again, there were a couple of pinball style headers that had me screaming at the TV "flukey so and so" but that final goal from way outside the box into the top corner was fantastic and really desrved to be a winner.

I just can’t maintain any kind of scoring pattern in my games at the mo. I’ve scored 10 in one, 5 in another and 4 in another and yet at other times I struggled to score any and its purely down to the amount of shots I get that eventually one goes in. Not sure why I can score loads in one and none in the next? Damn annoying tho :lol:

Depends on how late it is on whether I have the headset plugged in or not. Once it gets past 9.30 I tend to take it out as I dont want to disturb the missus

Otherway round I think. I have got it written down at home.

I personally don't mind if my opponent wears a headset or not. I never wear one, late at night, because my voice would keep the missus awake. However if i play games early evening, I tend to where it.
